I have been going to Hod's Breath for many years, I have four loyalty cards. The a latest experience was by far my worst. I went there for lunch with my Brother, girlfriend and my 4 year old disabled son. The waitress was very casual and obviously did not enjoy her job. it took nearly an hour to get our meal (no slow cooked steaks at lunch contrary to the ads). At one stage the waitress appeared with our drinks, on an overloaded tray. the tray slipped from her grasp, and my son was soaked with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. No apologies. The Manager couldn't have cared less. No compesation, no offer of discounted meals. I am surprised at the lack of caring. It cost me $35 to replace my sosn clothing. The meals were ordinary. I have thrown away my loyalty cards and am telling everybody about my experience> Hog's Braeth have lost a loyal customer.
030512 recived a phone call from the Manager at HOgs Breath Blacktown. He did not have any idea that this had happened, apoligised and assured me that he would get to the bottom of the incident. He has done well my rating has gone uop to 4 stars.

I would beg you not to give up on Hogs Breath Cafes so easily, as I have said this particular franchise is in no way an Ambassadore to the chain, hold on to your cards you may be lucky to get to some of their brilliant sites, like Orange. But maybe try Parramatta Nth. Hogs should be reading these and contacting you, they follow reviews on another site very well and respond. WOMO you might need to let them know also.

Disappointing to hear that nothing's changed at Hogs Breath Blacktown. The first time I went here was also my last..and that was way back when it first opened. Food took forever to arrive, and when it did it had no taste...and to top it off wait staff could not care less. What a lasting impression that gave me!

Just commenting on this: "WOMO you might need to let them know also." I doubt that the good folks at WOMO are reading every review that rolls in and manually firing off a "please explain" to every business that has a case to answer. WOMO wouldn't have the resources to even read every review, let alone act on them, unless businesses are part of their Happy Customers program (and even then, a lot of the review-alerting to Happy Customer businesses is probably automated). However, when you create a business listing on WOMO for the first time, there is a field for the business's email address, and a notation that says something like "Please supply us with the business's email address so we can let them know how they're going". This suggests to me that if you supply the email address, WOMO will fire off an automatically-generated email to that business for at least the first review, if not subsequent ones. My belief is borne out by the fact that I created a new listing on WOMO the other day, posted a review of it, and within 48 hours the business owner had followed it up with a comment thanking me for my review. It's too much of a coincidence to think that s/he was trawling the web and just happened to stumble over my review on WOMO within a couple of days of my creating it. My guess is that WOMO auto-emailed that business. And the only reason they were able to email them was that I supplied an email address when I created the listing. So, assuming that management at Hog's Breath Blacktown is NOT following these reviews here on WOMO, if you want any hope at all of them reading your review here and responding, I suggest you click on the "Is this information incorrect?" link above, and supply the email address of Hog's Breath Blacktown, which you can get from their website (click on "Locations"). Alternatively, you can cut out the middleman and mail Hog's Breath directly yourself. Just waiting for them to stumble over your reviews on WOMO and respond to you is probably not going to change anything.

I Must say I Love Hogs Breath and they generally have a good VIBE but the site at Blacktown just hasnt got it. I have eaten here 5 times due to my Brother wanting to go there, mostly lunches and they dont have the slow cooked steaks at lunch time, WHAT is that about? It took over an hour to get our meal and when it did come it was cold! They generally only use the right hand side of the restaurant and it always feels like the staff are semi panicked, unorganised and since they dont have the famous steaks I like to brag about in my other reveiws of Hogs Sites thers really not much I can say about this restaurant in Blacktown except it has left me feeling as cold as the meal. If its your first time and you are wanting to try Hogs breath Please dont go here for your first, or it will turn you of the franchise for like. You have to be a good and loyal follower to put up with this sites nonsense

Good food! Was pleased with the general service and atmosphere of the restaurant. Great for a family dine out on the weekend! Will definitely come back again.

The food is very similar to lone pine and outback steakhouse, so, it's not bad. The buttered mushroom side dishes are very tasty, and so is the salmon steak. It was well cooked and mine had no bones in it, unlike some fish n chips stores. The prices were fairly expensive though. Overall, great atmosphere and experience.

I was not expecting great things when I came here for a Sunday lunch with friends and it still managed to disappoint. The service was average, the waitress looked bored. The food was fine but wasn't great. The portions were quite large which for some might be a plus but for me seemed like a waste. The steak which I ordered medium came out well done to a crisp and tough.

The food was very tastey and exactly as expected. Although the staff members were very friendly and welcoming, the service was a little slow. The menu is relatively well priced, however a little on the more expensive side.
