Holy Basil is a delicious Thai restaurant hidden inside the Shark Hotel, i recently went here for lunch and i was pleasantly surprised how good it was. A large group of my friends and I went, this way we could try different things. The winning dishes were the fried crispy snapper mango salad, the roast pork belly in chilli basil and garlic sauce and the fried ice cream. The service was really lovely and polite. The ambience of the restaurant really takes away the fact that is located in the Shark Hotel.

Just like it's namesake in Canley Heights, Holy Basil doesn't disappoint! Located inside Shark Hotel on Liverpool Street in the CBD, we love the pad see ew with chicken - the flat rice noodles are covered and tossed well with sweet soy flavours and the tender chinese broccoli is well cooked with the noodles. Both my kids loved the fried ice- cream here with the right amount of batter, served with delicious caramel sauce and fresh strawberries! Yum!

Great Thai Cuisine at reasonable prices!

I love this place and go more often as it is Shark hotel, you don't have to go far for drinks afterwards. I love their mango juice and grill chicken. My favourite is Soft shell crab, just so tasty and mouth-watering every time and my hubby love their green papaya salad, Very reasonable price and quick service. Great place to catch up in city .
