Sorry to have to reveal what we experienced:
On the old site in Aspley, we were told about the flood damages. To help this company, we chose to purchase a three-seater and an Ottoman from them and not from elsewhere. The owner, Joe Lawton, finally talked us through the process. We agreed on an Ottoman not larger than 70 - 100 cm. We even showed photos from our dining room. Not much space there. He then did not give us anything in writing on what exactly we talked about and what he was going to order from the manufacturer. He said he would send it vie email. We trusted him, and that was our mistake. He ordered an Ottoman quit twice the size (140 cm) of the one we were sitting on in his shop and wanted to have. Two sizes are noted in his invoice. In bold letters, the regular size we wanted (70 cm). Below, in small letters, he ordered a huge Ottoman of 1.40 meters (!). Our disappointment comes also from the very ugly spattered legs of the three-seater. We emailed him more than three times after the delivery date and wanted to offer him a solution where he wouldn't lose anything. We paid in full without hesitation, as he described the challenges they face after the flood in 2022. Sadly, the shop/owner does not answer or call us and refused to comply with anything he was talking about in the shop. On their website, they write in beautiful words about customer relationships. Beware, reality can be completely different! Now, we just want to inform everyone about our experience. It is better to get a copy of the order in the shop (which Joe refused to give us). Conclusion: nice and very professional staff with the quite most disrespectful owner we have ever met. It is also sad that his store puts up with such mistakes on the customer side and that his manufacturers deliver such poor quality (legs). He's not about giving and providing what the customer needs and wants, once you've paid you need good luck. We arrived a couple of months before from Germany and had to buy a house full of furniture. Therefore, in our experience, we now know that there are far better addresses for all they offer now in the newly opened shop in Northlake. Nevertheless, having made also this unpleasant experience in Australia, we wish them good luck!

I bought a good quality leather lounge suite last Sunday 2nd April 2023 from this store. I had gone to 4 other stores in the same vicinity but nothing else compared to the good quality and price at Home Furniture. I was very impressed with the customer service, the quality, the quick timeframe for availability, and the good discount. The store has a welcoming ambience and all the staff are so lovely. I highly recommend this store for all quality home furnishings.

If I could give them a zero or -5 review I would. BUYER BEWARE. Ordered a sofa and Ottoman Dec 5th. Part of the reason we were happy to order is because unlike other furniture stores we were told we'd only have to wait until mid March for our Brisbane made sofa to arrive and the manufacturer offered a lifetime guarantee on the frame. Too good to be true. Not only was the sofa not delivered in Mid March as originally promised we weren't contacted about any possible delays and each time we called we got a different fob off. Finally on the 4th enquiry we were told the manufacturer had gone bankrupt but another company would be making our sofa and it would be ready by June. Now of course this isn't what we ordered nor is it the time frame we were originally given. We have asked for a refund of our deposit and have been given the run around continually since then. Apparently only one person in the business has the ability to transact refunds and he is out of office indefinitely. I would not be surprised if they are actually trading whilst insolvent. I have since been contacted by other customers in the same situation and they have been given different stories as to why their goods are not being delivered within the time frame. Read google reviews and purchase at your own risk.
