Love coming here over the weekends. Great tasting food and very affordable. Love the atmosphere and you can look over Manly Beach! Will come here again!

A great pub facing the iconic Manly beach, the staff are friendly and there is ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Worth it for the view alone.

We visited the Steyne Hotel whilst in Sydney for the weekend.
This pub has family history with our family with many generations visiting over the many years and apparently it is still a great stop in. On a freezing winter day we wandered in to find a really comfy seat right next to the fire and the biggest eating area I have seen in a pub. The food is amazing, we ordered a seafood plate and it well and truly fed both of us with the freshest seafood I have tasted in a while. The plate had not been filled up with hot chips and crappy salad that no one ever eats. The crab claw, oysters, prawns and fresh fish were surprising and all for $25. We had ordered a garlic bread in case it was small and that alone would have been a meal, absolutely huge on Turkish bread.
The service wasn't bad, very helpful staff it is just not really needed as you go to the bar/counter to get your food and drinks so hard to give a rating on that. Young girl in the sports bar part a little full of herself and rude but she was the only thing to bring it down. If she learns what she is talking about before being obnoxious to clientele about their bets then all will be good. All in all we had an unreal day just sitting and watching the world and their dogs go by and would recommend to anyone adding it to their list be it passers by or locals.

This is a great older style pub which still has the older charm but is really well set out. They have a great bistro area and it's big enough that there is always somewhere to sit and enjoy even when it's really busy! Up top is great at dusk.
