10/5/19 we ordered steamed dim sims which were the size of a tennis ball, 3 per serve and was not very nice, packed with minced pork, all i could taste, like a meat loaf inside, husband ordered the big spring roll thinking it would be a nice thin, crispy roll and it looked like an over sized fat giant sausage roll, and again packed with similar filling as the dim sims. Very unappetizing and not nice. The fried rice was gluggy and not much flavor, and my sons meal had peas and carrots in it!! not snow peas, and looked like a stew!! i would rate this meal a 3/10 and would never go back, cost $106 for 3 people and wasnt real cheap. I would thoroughly recommend Emperors Crown Restaurant, 26 John Street Salisbury, absolutely the best fried rice i have ever tasted, meals are very good and cheap! wished we went there now.

Quite possibly the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever had the misfortune to patronize.

The satay beef entree (usually marinated beef grilled on charcoal or at least a hotplate) was rather some sort of cheap cut, either pressure cooked or stewed to within an inch of its life on a stick with a sauce that whilst purporting to be Satay had nary a peanut to be seen. Soft, soggy tasteless pap!

The fried dim Sims had the taste of the the thousands that had gone before them mixed with the burnt oil that resides in their putrid friers.

The steak with chilli blackbean was another stewed textureless bowl of pap.

The pork noodles were passable.

Utter rubbish and over priced to boot!

We (2 adults, 1 toddler) had a family dinner here. The service was quick and friendly, but the only thing they got right with our order was the drinks....!!!

I ordered King Prawn with Cashew Nuts, and got something with pork, chicken, squid and prawns and vegies...lightly braised in a vat of gelatinous something. He ordered combination chow mein and got something with combination meat, vegies...delicately nestled in a vat of gelatinous something.

I had been hoping for something special here, but it was just very poor quality chinese food, cooked with oodles of unnecessary boggy sauce and I'm not sure how the waitress could have messed up such straightforward dishes. She didn't even know what was what when she bought the food out.

We were ravenous so we just ate what we could from what came out; we mentioned the error when paying the bill, and the lady taking payment thought we were questioning the total of the bill - she very exaggeratedly took a deep breath and started to toll out each item on the bill. Unnecessary theatrics for someone that can't decipher a patron's reasonably pronouched "King. Prawn. with. Cashew. Nuts".

The menu was overrpriced in my opinion - most menu items were nudging $20 or over. The dish size is very generous - but if it's poor food that doesn't really make up for it.

We won't be going back and would not recommend.

Great Chinese restaurant. Love going here as a little kid.the food is amazing. Love the fried ice cream. Great value. Not too expense on prices. Staff are friendly and great service. Clean and tidy inside. Great for a romantic dinner or for the whole family.

This was one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. As soon I walked in I was greeted. There was so much to choose from on the menu I was amazed. I didn't have to wait long for the food, and it came out hot & fresh.

Everything was okay really except the curry chicken. Unfortunately I don't like thigh meat so this was very unsatisfactory to me. I don't like chewy slimy or crunchy chicken! Sorry Also way over priced!

Quality food and the banquets in particular are value for money. Unlike some other chinese restaurants, the staff are outgoing and friendly and don't mind having a laugh with you and join in if you are celebrating a special occasion. A reasonable wine list is available. All in all you won't be disappointed

Love the variety on the menu at this place. They use fresh ingredients and have quite large portions. No matter what we order it is always good and leaves us wanting more
