I bought a scoopon deal from this company last year for my husbands birthday and it was a pretty good experience. The Hummers are very impressive looking from the outside but on the inside they are looking a little worn and tired. One problem we had was that the air con wasn't on at the back and it was stinking hot back there & our driver had to pull over for 10 minutes to get it working so that ate into our 1 hour hire time which felt like a bit of a let down. The rest of the ride was fun and I'd recommend it for a fun night out but do ring and confirm booking at least a few days prior as their communication is not the best.

I booked a 1 hour 16 seat luxury hummer experience online from this company to celebrate my sons 21st birthday on Saturday May 26th 2012. The booking was made 6 months in advance using a Scoopon deal to ensure that we secured the date & the car that we wanted. I received a return email confirming this & then rang again to confirm 6 weeks prior. I was told everything was fine & that I would receive another call during the week leading up to the booking to work out final details. Well, that call never came & the limo didn't show up on the night either! Several messages were left on their answering machine but no-one returned our calls. We thought they may have been running late so we gave Hummer Limousines the benefit of doubt & waited another 45 minutes to arrive but they never did. On one of the most important days in my son's life to date; we were left stranded & embarrassed at home with 16 people waiting to the picked up & taken to a restaurant where more guests were waiting for us to show up. We then had to order 2 maxi taxi's to ferry everyone to our destination & found out that it was also Broadbeach Blues Festival that night (a busy night on the Gold Coast) so had to wait another 30 mins for taxi's to arrive. We finally reached the venue 1.5 hours late & another $60 out of pocket. The following Monday I got an email from the owner saying he tried to call me on Sunday to apologise but somehow must have been given the wrong number ... bullocks! My phone was sitting next to me all day & didn't ring once ... mind you; all these details they already would have had on file, not to mention left on the answering machine more than once with alternate numbers! The excuse ... they got the date wrong & had us booked in for June 26th instead!!! I really don't believe this as the date was already confirmed twice & June 26th fell on a Tuesday night. Why would I book a 21st on a Tuesday night 6 months in advance??? It just doesn't make sense ... more like a better deal came along! Scoopon refunded our money in full & Hummer Limousines ended up covering the cost of our taxi fares (which is the least that they could do). So although we didn't end up out of pocket ... our memories of what should have been an experience of a life time were stolen from us. 6 months of anticipation after a hell few months prior ... my family really need something good to happen & this is what we got instead! We never did receive a personal phone call of apology, no flowers, no vouchers ... nothing! A goodwill gesture to show how sorry they actually were (instead of insulting us further with lame excuses) would have been nice to regain some sort of faith in this company but the fact that they couldn't even bring themselves to go above & beyond to do that after what they put us through has left us with a very bitter taste in our mouths. There is no such thing as customer care or service here & I can only imagine how devastating it would be for them to not show up for a bride on her special day. Our experience with this company has been appalling. The Scoopon deal was good value & their cars look awesome but I would not recommend them to anyone for fear of this happening again to someone else.
