I was really impressed by this little take-away business in Newport. A normal-looking glass front shop window to the street but once inside, like the Tardis, it seems bigger on the inside than the outside.

The food serving and preparation area is all one side of the shop and there are neat tables and chairs down the other side. The other thing you notice is the cleanliness. There was a whole fridge display case full of bowls of delicious looking salad items and sandwich fillings - lettuce, beetroot, carrot, mushrooms etc and they all looked so fresh and yummy. Next time I'm going to construct a sandwich or roll.

Today it was a quick stop between appointments and only had time for a few dim sims and a hot dog. The lady who was tossing a salad and the gentleman who served me were both very friendly and pleasant. I was offered chicken or onion salt on my dimmies.

There's a hot food counter - large chicken schnitzels, chips, fish etc up one end. And of course lots of drinks on offer.

I'm definitely going back to this fresh and happy little place to sample some more of their wares.

Total cost for the hot dog and 3 dim sims was just over $5.

Hungerlicious is a good little take away food joint on Hall St, offering the usual take away foods that you get most places and a little bit more. The staff are friendly and attentive and the prices are reasonable. They make a great bacon and egg roll!
