Yesterday I took my daughters to Geelong Hungry Jacks with relief knowing the children would enjoy their visit and there would be a happy outcome as in previous occasions...this was not to be. I ordered 2 of the special 'slushies' which I think is called Frozen drinks on your menu that was advertised on your menu board for a $1 each, along with 2x Vegi burgers regular meal deals and a coffee. The bill came to $25 which seemed excessive to what I have paid in the past but the kids were excited and hungry and other people were waiting to be served so we sat down and proceeding to have our meal. When the kids were settled and I had a chance to read the receipt I noticed that I had been charge an addition $7.80 for the so called $1 special drinks? I had asked for and assumed the drinks were in replace of the drinks offered as part of the meal deal. Which is what we have done on other occasions, for a nominal additional fee. So I asked the staff member that served me to clarify why I was charged so much and she explained that that was because I ordered two flavours instead of one! That doesnt make sense to me so I asked to speak to the manager. He came over with a look of distain and annoyance, as if customers are the last thing he wishes to deal with and proceeded to tell me that the $1 special is only for a large drink and since you ordered a regular you paid $3.90 each for smaller drink. I said I didnt know that a SMALLER DRINK would COST ME MORE and he said that all the prices are listed at the entrance to the restaurant. When I said it would be nice if your staff inform me that the special only refers to the large size, he repeated that the prices are listed on the wall...PLEASE TELL ME WHY i HAD TO PAY $8.55 FOR A BURGER, FRIES and NO DRINK (on both meals I didnt receive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). and then an additional $3.90 ($7.80 in total) just because I didnt read the two little letters on the display board that say LG - IT DOESNT STATE that this only applies to one size and that I will be charged $3.90 if I order another size. I'm trying to manage to little children and explained to the manager that why would I order two large drinks for small children? Finally, after this conversation, the manager just walked away, after no customer resolution and making me feel robbed and insulted in front of other customers, however, the staff member apologized to me and said that she was new and was still in training. SHAME on the manager for not even providing proper training and supervision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will not be back!!!!!!!!!!!

When you get there, you always have to wait in line for about 10-15 minutes. You then go up to the staff that don't even know what to do. You then have to repeat yourself several times about what you are ordering to them. You then have to pay the staff the money for your crap food. You then have to wait another 10-15 minutes either standing up or sitting down on a table which is oily and disgusting with chips on the floor and yucky chairs for your order which is cold and messy/saucy. You then eat you order which doesn't actually fill you up, and then leave the restaurant regretting going there.

The girl serving was very rude to several customers and had no patience when a customer was trying to explain things to her and the manager just didnt care a customer ended up yelling at her for being so rude. most of the staff there were swearing and yelling rudly at each other wouldnt take young impressionable children there
