I use to live in Southport and this little restaurant on the main strip of Scarborough is a gem. Excellent fast and polite service. Delicious meals. I always tend to get the chicken raman. And their prices are very affordable. They do takeaway too. Recommend definitely.

Best ramen outside of Japan (even better than some in Japan). I cannot fault Ichiban Boshi. The ramen itself is not quite the same as in Japan but still very good, and the soups are out of this world in flavour.

Great food at a great price. The service is no frills but I have never had a bad experience.

This is the most authentic ramen shop I have been to in Australia. Yes, the service isn't all kisses and cuddles, but it is efficient. It is really well priced. You get A HUGE bowl of ramen, that I can never finish, and it tastes amazing. A true, roadside dining experience that those who have visited Asia will understand. For those that haven't, give it a go! The food is just fantastic!

This place has some seriously good Japanese food, there could be more options (especially in terms of meat-free options) but if you don't mind a short menu it is a great place to eat. The customer service is what lets it down, I have had a few negative experiences of staff being quite short and somewhat petty. My partner was served an extra salad accidently with his meal, we didn't notice and continued eating- a waitress then comes up and tells my partner this salad isn't the one that is meant to come with his meal in a tone and throws the salad he was half way through in the trash! Also if you are eating with friends but getting food from different places, get the ichi-ban take-away and sit somewhere else as they will throw your friends out once you have ordered! So overall, great food but odd customer service. They are open Wed-Mon.

Awesome Japanese food... Cannot find any others that matches with this one... Staff are extremely polite... They greet you when you enter and when you leave the restaurant making you feel very welcomed... Food comes fast... Prices are good... Love the Hiyashi Udon! What Subfusion said...
