Went here last week on an impulse. Had to hunt down a waitress to ask for a table, then had to wait for a long time to get our orders taken. The staff seemed good, just not enough of them.

We ordered the rendang beef (medium hot) and the mi goreng, both were very good with the rendang having the perfect amount of hum of chilli.

Aside from the understaffing issue it was a great night.

We decided to try a new Korean restaurant so went to DoDoMi at South Brisbane. Nice big restaurant with plenty of room. Staff were very friendly and the menu looked interesting. We ordered a few dishes (japche, cod hot pot, pancake, and the silk worm soup .......) The last one was just for a bit of a laugh. The other dishes were ok except for the cod hotpot was less than average, the fish was overcooked and tough like it had been frozen. All in all the food was a little disappointing.

Afterwards we got some coffees and sweets, which turned out to be the highlight. The creme brulee and the panna cotta for both terrific.

PS order he silk worms at your own risk, certain was worth a laugh, but very weird.

Great place to have a coffee and cake or a something more substantial while you take in the superb views. Staff are friendly and the service is quite good.

Make sure you choose a table before ordering and be prepared for the weather during the cooler months.

A must do for anyone living in or just visiting Brisbane.

Ate lunch here recently and this is a bit of a weird restaurant. Originally they opened as a Japanese restaurant under a different name but their menu is clearly Korean. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. Not anything to rave to your friends about but certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.

Tried these guys recently. I wouldn't say they are the best Vietnamese restaurant around, but certainly worth going back for.

I tried the Laksa and was happy enough with it for me to go back again the next day.

We decided to try this place last night. Looking at the menu we were not expecting much.
We ordered the trio of dips and bread for starters. The bread was wonderful and the dips (homus, sun dried tomato and blue cheese[?]) were really good.
We share a vegetarian pizza and the fettucini marinara for mains. Both were okay but really of a standard that you could cook yourself at home.
Overall I would say it is average but given that Mamma Mia is only 3 doors up I would choose Mamma Mia every time.

I have never really enjoyed getting a massage but after an active weekend my aching bones needed something. As this was my first time, I didn't really know what to expect. The staff were very friendly and respectful. The girl I had didn't spoke English well enough (she did have the sniffles but hey it's winter).
Still not a big fan of massages but I did feel better, so will be back regularly between games.

This review is for Koncept Fusion Bar And Restaurant, Mount Gravatt QLD

We tried Koncept on a recommendation but were sadly disappointed. Only about 2 other tables were occupied when we arrived. We are taken to our seats and handed the menus (no request for drinks). Looking at the menu we were quite excited about some of the dishes that were on offer. A little while later the waitress returns to take our meal order (still no request for drinks). We ordered edamame with chilli and garlic, salmon tartare, tuna tartare, drunken clams, and for mains barramundi and trio of meats. To our surprise we are told that out of a menu with ONLY 5 mains on it, the pork belly is the only dish available. A little bemused we settled for the pork belly, ordered some drinks (tired of waiting for her to ask if we wanted any drinks) and asked the waitress for a little more time to decide on some replacement meals before adding beef hot pot and regular sashimi to our order. The food starts to come out and we have to remind the waitress that we still haven't received our drinks. She returns a little later with our drinks and my sake is room temperature ( ...... hello????). We start eating our meals, looking around the now empty restaurant, laughing at the offcuts of plywood slapped together as an "artistic" shelf when we notice that there is a specials menu on offer (thanks to the waitress for NOT mentioning it !! ) The food was very mixed in quality. Edamame were undercooked and the chilli was so harsh i had to stop eating them or risk losing the ability to taste the other food. Both tartares were quite good and so were the clams. The pork belly was fairly bland and the crackling was rubbery (presumably it had been preprepared and just heated up). The sashimi was sub standard, texture was soft and lacking the flavour good quality fresh sashimi should have. Beef hot pot had a really weird flavour that might appeal to some, but certainly not us.

So in summary

Menu looks AWESOME!!

Presentation of food is AWESOME!!

Flavours? ........ average at best, really missing the mark at worst.

Service? .... CRAP CRAP CRAP!!!!

Price? ..... F@#$ ME!!! you want how much for what you gave me???????

I ate here on the weekend after reading some reviews on WOMO. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The taste was amazing with very fresh and good quality ingredients used. We ordered steak with pepper sauce (was okay), fish with ginger and shallots (very nice) and chicken with cashews (outstanding). The sauces were clean tasting and very flavoursome and best of all no nasty MSG after taste or hangover. I would not say the prices are cheap, but are very reasonable for the quality that we got. I usually only eat Indian when I am in Cleveland, but now I have a second choice!!

This review is for Goat Pie Guy, Strathpine QLD

This guy makes AMAZING pies. I am not talking about your regular "oh look I found some meat" kind of pie, I mean delicious fillings that could easily be served as a meal in a restaurant covered by mouth watering pastry. Just thinking about them now is making me salivate. Thank God New Farm markets are this weekend!!!

Flavours available alternate from week to week, check their facebook page for updates.

Michael and his partner are amazingly friendly (Michael especially will talk your ear off if you let him). They have a great product and are really proud of it. The price is more than reasonable for the quality that you are getting.

My personal favourite is The Malaysian, a coconutty Rendang treat with the slightest hint of chilli flavour (not hot).

Do yourself a favour and check them out!!!

PS Yes they are made using goat meat, but you won't know the difference.
