Need staff who can understand the menu & language, order was repeated 10 times only to get it wrong in the end

I dropped by the Iconic Cafe for a coffee and some pancakes with strawberry and ice cream, which was delicious and reasonably prices.
The only area of improvement that I would comment on was the service. After we took a seat, we were not offered a menu for some time even though it was not busy. It took some effort to get the attention from the Wait staff.
i would still come back here for the food, hopefully the service will improve.

I have visited this cafe once with my family and the coffee and breakfast was really good. We all enjoyed the food there. The service was really good and the staff are friendly.

had egg royale .. was really good...except the bread was abit hard to cut with the knife but thats not a big deal. Friend had the big bfast.. she loved it...bacon was absoultely beautiful not overcook like many places i tried. Fast service too.

It's a cafe in a very convenient spot - in front of David Jones, so you can come here for a coffee and take a rest when you get tired from all the shopping! Service is not the best, although decent for such a busy cafe. The food is decent too.

I go to Iconic with my wife whenever we have days off and get the all day breakfast which is one of the best value breakfasts around. I think the coffee is great, perhaps they have changed supplier since the last user comment.

The coffee, hot chocolate and chai latte were average. Their sweets and dessert (pancake) were nice. The cost was average however, the size per serving was quite generous. The service needs improvement since waiting for a seat was not uncommon.

Regularly go here after work for an affogato and a chai latte with a friend. The affogato serving size is huge, and good value for money. We also order a butterstack of pancakes which is great. The atmosphere is nice, as its located on the shopping level, in front of David Jones.
