This place is a bit pricey but handy if you can't get to a bigger supermarket. They usually have a good range of meat, cheeses and bread products. Most of the time the fruit & veg is good quality and they do have quite a few organic products. The customer service could be improved and I have come across out of date items a few times so I would advise you to check the use by date before purchasing.

Very little has changed since my original review last November. The male staff seem OK but the regular female staff can't even be bothered saying hello when they serve you at the checkout. Also seems more important to the staff to chat to each other when serving & you'll be lucky if you even get an acknowledgement. Really over this place - over-priced and the quality of fresh food is below par. Also frequently see mould on bread & stock that's out of date. Clearly the manager/owner is disinterested in the level of service & quality for nothing to have changed in almost a year. Unfortunately there's still no major supermarket in North Melbourne & the other IGA closes at 7pm!

Staff unfriendly & unhelpful. Nobody looks happy which is a shame since they're working in customer service but clearly don't want to be.

I really didn't like this experience after we saw the supermarket as we were driving past and needed some cat food. Very crowded with their products, small lanes, and a security guard outside...?

This is a small supermarket that is handy if you can't be bothered going any where else. The fruit and veg are normally about a week old and over priced however it's bread section is ok and is the toilet paper when you run out!

the new renovations that this place has undergone of late has really brought it up a notch! its probably the best place to shop in north melbourne - the cleanest, best prices and has everything that you want - little bottle shop to the side and is open late!
