In my opinion, their customer support is a joke (a really bad one). I contacted IKEA (removed name) to say that I can’t collect my order #194140116 today because I am sick, and they told me that they would cancel my order?! and, if I want buy from them I should do all the purchasing process again. Really? What type of business is this. The person also said that I am welcome to raise complaints?!

Approximate cost: $699

what can i say i love ikea! we have purchased such a lot from here. bookshelves, toys kitchenware. I like the unusual and we certainly find it here at ikea. i love that they have the cheap restaurant now. the food is tasty and you can buy the ingredients in the shop off the the side of the food eating area. takes me hours to walk around, grab a bag paper pencil and go for it.... the car park is huge so remember where you park lol ive gotten lost a couple of times. my daughter bought a hat that looked like a bowl of fruit lol i love the kitchen stuff mostly and the bedding, we had a doona cover of a police chalked body .well worth the trip and you can even get fed, items are easy to find in the warehouse once you have decided what u need and go to checkout and get it to your car. love my ikea outings... kitchen ware starts from @$2

We love Ikea too. My hubby can't get enough of their hot dogs. You always find something in Ikea that you didn't know you needed but can't now live without.

I totally agree with how easy it is to find things, I had no issues at all. The staff are pretty helpful if you get stuck. I think the quality of cabinets is brilliant.

This place is great to shop for furniture and Knick-Knacks but also great to eat! I have been here just for the food many times in the past. They currently have dinner specials during the week and have meals as cheap as $3 :-) Everyone Wins!

The absolute cheapest place to go for breakfast in Brisbane. We quite often go to Ikea for Sunday breakfast, you pay around $4 for a plate of eggs bacon tomato and sausage, it's so cheap you can have two plates each!

The food is cheap and filling - Swedish meatballs for $9 and so many of them and other meals under $10. The shop is huge and takes about an hour to explore but well set up variety of goods available at good prices, something for everyone. Fun and a whole world of household stuff.

You've gotta love a cheap brekky to set you up for a morning's hard core shopping. Ikea's Sunday breakfast is about $3 and you get bacon, eggs, hash brown, tomato and sausages. Then you get to wander through the massive store, browsing, making impulse purchases and exiting at the other end wondering what happened!

Still, Ikea is a fun occasional experience and although some of the prices are lofty, the products are pretty good. I like bringing home a range of gadgets to add to my kitchen drawers!

Parking is excellent but the service leaves a little to be desired. You can never get anyone to help with enquiries.

This is a big store, and you can find almost anything in there. I bought this office desk I am sitting in front of right now, we did have to work out for ourselves what suited us as there aren't many staff around, but we still enjoyed our experience there. I am very fond of a brand of scented candles that they sell, so will always go back to buy more and see what else they have new in the store.

You're right about the size and the staff. It's certainly not a quick drop-in to pick something up place

Customer service is not high on Ikea's agenda. Considering many items are larger than would fit in an ordinary car, you would think there'd be a little help on hand to determine if they'll fit.

The products are good but pricey and if you saw the recent story on one of the 6.30pm shows, you'd know that Australian prices at Ikea are way more expensive than in other countries.

The cafeteria offers a great breakfast at a really cheap price. The kids' play room is probably a great help for parents with little children. There are some good points but all in all, the service could improve for sure.
