Nice food, but lacks any real charm. The black and white design suggests they are trying to be cool, but those colours just show lack of originality. Next time we are in Coolangatta we will probably try somewhere else, but still tempted to go back. The food is good even if it is not Ikonic.

We decided to find somewhere new to eat and found Ikonic. With the big wooden encapsulating fence, it appears kind of secreted - even though it's on Coolangatta's main street - but it was perfect protection from the rain. There was only one other table of customers, but I'm sure this place gets busy. The service was excellent, with the staff very friendly and helpful. The food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly and the whole ambience was very relaxing. Would love to try it for lunch and/or dinner next time!
