My daughter and i are very pleased with Ash, she takes the time to listen to my daughter on different ideas she has ,for her hair and is very patient and Explains things really well, ash is very friendly as are all the girls,
and always been very happy with cut , great prices too!!!

My regular hairdresser moved to Melbourne so i needed to find a new salon who could support me manage my hair. Illustrious hair salon is located near me and new owner positive and engaging right from the start. Staff are warm friendly and skilled in both colour and cutting my hair which can often be difficult for me to manage. I dont hesitate recommending the team and look forward to remaining part of this service over time. Thank you Illustrious x

I came across Illustrious Hair Studio after searching on the internet, looking for a decent hairdresser. I have been searching for several years, giving hairdressers a decent chance to do a good job but was always disappointed. After my search found Illustrious Hair Studio, their reviews were good so decided to give it a go. I was delighted to find it was just down the road from me. From the very first haircut from Ash, I knew I had finally found the salon I was looking for. She actually listens to what you say and doesn't disappoint. Very good haircuts. I have had many compliments about the my hair style since Ash started doing it for me. Thanks Ash!

Have been trying to find a new hairdresser for a while now and have tried a few without much success. After having a look at the reviews for this salon thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed. Ash took her time to make sure she understood what I wanted and takes great pride in her work. Very friendly staff and excellent service.

I went to this hairdresser purely from the reviews of this website. I wasn't disappointed. Roslyn was awesome. Excellent people skills and she listened to what I wanted. She assessed my hair and cut it to according to what would be best in my circumstance i.e. with the razor rather than scissors. Love my hair cut. Thanks so much.

I have been hesitant to write a review for this amazing business only because I know they will get much busier causing me to loose my scheduled fortnightly appointment slot! ( i know selfish right, but when you find a good one, you hang on to them like gold) but I think Roslyn and the team deserve the admiration that many reviewers before me have given them and also mine.

Illustrious hair Studio is one of those hidden gems located in the quiet suburbs making parking very easy.

I can only speak on behalf of male haircuts (although I have felt the need to compliment some of the other ladies stylists on their work which I have seen leave this place) but Roslyn is the master of freehand clipper work and blending. I would have to be one of, if not the pickiest of clients they have there, as I have thick European hair with a mind of its own and I refuse to leave until it is shaped to perfection.

Roslyn has the foresight to see where minor touch ups or trims are needed to finish the job to my liking before I even need to comment. She also has the talent to cut hair to suit a specific head shape or hair type in general. THANK GOD for the first Mens hair stylist that i have ever come across that I don't need to coach at the same time! I just sit back relax and enjoy the friendly banter I get there from the ladies which makes this place so inviting.

So ladies if you think your husband, partner or male friend isn't staying up to date with current trends or just simply isn't getting a haircut which is of high enough standards AND at an affordable price, then I seriously suggest you let them know about this place. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Ashlee did an amazing job considering how bad my hair was, I thought it was going to be too difficult & i would lose a lot of length but she did her best on saving as much as she could :)

My hair feels so healthy & looks great. I have no need to tie it up and hide it now. I will definitely be back :) highly recommend
