Don't waste your time. Mud everywhere, and don't have alloy wheels... I thought that it was a place where you go to get parts for your car, So why don't you have alloy wheels.? It's a part of a car.... Also, You are forced to supply a lot of information including your driver's license details however they don't care whether you have a current vaccination certificate or not...???

Was in a couple weeks ago and this is the Worst wreckers rude staff especially a guy named mat, he kept telling me i was wrong and he new everything. The yard is very dangerous kept falling in puddles id love to see work safe there Avoid this place at all costs. If I could give a lower star I would.

Staff can come across as uncaring and prices change on a whim even though they are printed on a board and posted on the web. You need to do your research and know what you're after before you go in order to get good value. $2 just to look.

Thanks for your feedback. We recall our discussion with you. Yes you should do you research. Self Serve Parts (where you remove the parts) are charged per our advertised Self Serve Price List on our reception board and website. Full Service Parts (where we remove parts at your request) come at an additional charge.

The gear box on our car went while we were down in Tassie on a "relaxing holiday". RACT through RACQ towed it to a numpty repairer (subject of another not-so-nice review) who then duck shoved it onto our current repairer. He put me onto Imlachs to get a 2nd hand box to get us back on the road within a week, and lo and behold, they had *one* gearbox for our Pajero that had just come in, but was earmarked for another person. After telling the lovely Alesha our situation, she got it organised so that we would get the gearbox. Money went through via internet transfer, and we waited for the box to be picked up. Unfortunately, the sea-road service carrier didn't appear for about 5 days, and by that time, our window of repair and recovery was gone.
We made the decision to cancel the box transfer and leave the car in Tassie for a full rebuild. Totally unsure of the reaction we'd get from Imlachs, I called Alesha and explained the situation, and she was more than happy to cancel the order and refund our $1,340... we just had to wait a couple of hours after the phone call for the accountant to get around to it. The money was transferred back into our account that day, and we received printed details of our transactions within a couple of days. I was very pleased with the customer service (via Alesha), and would not hesitate to deal with them again if the situation ever arises.
