First time ever left my keys behind when walking out the door! Googled "locksmith" and picked IL&S, from moment my call was taken till the locksmith arrived, it was very professionally handled! We all pay for service nowadays and although initial price quoted was steep (emergency), I did get the complete service! Invoice was sent to me via email for my own records.

We are a large strata complex and Independant do our Seaclous access cards to our community pool and recreation area as well as our CCTV security requirements so when there is a problem it impacts a lot of people. I can’t recommend them enough fir their excellent service. Over the phone I have dealt with Gerry, Ryan and Michelle which were terrific to speak to. On site I have mostly dealt with Jake who is fabulous and has always taken the time to explain things to me and assisted above and beyond. Today I dealt with Dean who was terrific too. He noticed something that was unrelated to the call out and fixed it whilst there and then explained it all to me. The company as a whole has an excellent communication and work ethic and great staff make a great business. Thank you - a pleasure to deal with this company. My husband and I are in construction and deal with trades all the time, both good and bad service experience. I can highly recommend Independant Locksmiths. I called for a locksmith and was told not available until the evening. However he finished a job early and rang to see if he could help me out earlier and of course I agreed. He was friendly, courteous and repaired the lock saving me money. No fuss, no mess and the work done quickly. I even got advice how to maintain the locks against the weather. Very happy with the service and the cost was reasonable which is why I have used this company more than once.

Right after the Easter break got an urgent job to do at Miranda Tuesday morning, made a call and within an hour and a half the Locksmith was there and also helped to secure a open garage for me so when he left the place was again very secure. Nothing was to hard for him to do very polite and helpful. Tom G.

Placed our order over the phone, order was received VERY promptly by secure mail, everything received as ordered, invoice received by email and paid for easily, on-line. Great efficient service without any hiccups.

The locksmith was prompt to arrive at the agreed time, he was friendly and efficient at the job and the price was reasonable.

Front door lock lever (cast) snapped requiring repair - rang Michael - he asked for photos to be sent via text message to access situation, then called me to suggest solution - he suggested I take part to his nearby store, where they could find suitable part replacement, and I could do it myself and save cost of a callout fee - all of which I did - alternative door supplier said I needed to change full lock, cost over $300 (parts not available!!) - used Independent before - always helpful and recommend best option(for me!!) - now listed in my mobile phone -

These gentlemen are great and they sure do a terrific job.
They were fast and very polite. The job was done quickly and not that expensive.

It's not luck that keeps you in business for over 40 years. Family owned and run makes all the difference to the experience you'll receive. I have used Independent Locksmiths for over 25 years and always been overly impressed with the under promise and over delivery attitude from Directors to apprentices. When you want and need trustworthy, reliable and best advice you will not get better than Independent. Micheal was at my house today while I wasn't, excellent job done and wouldn't have know he'd even been except for multiple new locks. We had a serviceman, David, visit to carry out lock repairs on different style locks. He arrived on time, was extremely efficient and very pleasant. For the work done, the charge very reasonable. Would certainly use the company again.

Micheal came out & did a fantastic job fixing a couple of door locks. He was polite, efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend them!

Locked myself out. Called these guys, which was answered quickly. Prompt response (within the hour). Gained access and cut an extra key all within 5 minutes and with a great attitude. (I believe the value is spot on but haven't compared so cannot say - I do not have an issue with the amount I paid.)
