Excellent banquet and wonderful food all round at Mehfil. Some room for improvement: the timing was a little out with a fair delay on our group's food. A couple of the blokes spoke particularly highly about the butter chicken, but I thought it was all very good! Friendly staff, good location, highly recommended.

I personally think that this is not just one of the best Indian restaurants in Ipswich, but in the whole of Brisbane.
It is not a 5 star restaurant, so there are some faults. Like the furniture is a bit worn etc. But I think it adds to the décor. It is beautiful, dark furniture, low lighting.
The staff are lovely, even when they don't quite understand, they politely ask to repeat. They will try very hard to please you.
And the food is just spectacular! Let yourself know that I am a hard person to please as well!

My favourite Indian restaurant in Ipswich. Friendly staff. All meals are freshly cooked and tastes awesome. The butter chicken there is my favourite. They are well priced. Eat in or take away. Clean and great atmosphere.

this would have to be my favourite local Indian food, the staff are friendly and polite, they offer children meals which are suitable for children, value for money highly recommended.

My absolute favourite place to eat in Ipswich. The food is always outstanding and fantastic value. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff are aboslitely lovely! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice meal out in ipswich!

Delicious food at very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity, fantastic friendly service, great atmosphere - the restaurant has a very special feel to it.

Had a return dinner after their welcome introduction to Ipswich. We had a mixture of curries and breads with the usual accompaniments. The service was fine & staff seemed keen to please. Whilst our meals were flavoursome, yet a tad thin, there was an unfortunate sameness about the sauces and a distinct lack of ingredient remnants found in good curries made from scratch, such as the odd bit of cardamon or cinnamon. Whilst I regard Mehfil as a much better attempt to fill this beautiful site I am a little disappointed in some of its authenticity food wise. I would like to think my curry is made from authentic ingredients on site rather than mixed into commercial sauces. I would go again but if no change I think I would lose interest.
