Hi Ingrid. Could you please respond to my repeated requests to lodge my marriage paperwork for the ceremony you conducted and were paid in full for on the 27th February 2019? I believe Births, Deaths and Marriages are also attempting to contact you about this issue.

After approx. 6 weeks of attempting to contact her we drove to her registered place of business, which happens to be her house, and confronted her. Long story short, she allegedly hand delivered our paperwork with a stat dec the following week however we are yet to receive notification or a marriage certificate to confirm this to be the case.

Hi Kristine .. hope you have received your certificate of marriage. We had same issue with Ingrid, same month as you but earlier. As we don't stay in Australia, we were so upset thought it's a scam. After much hassles and thousand times of calls and complaint to BDM and Association of Civil Celebrant, we finally got it last week. I'm just curious what's the excuses she gave when you guys confronted her.

Hi Annen221, I am yet to receive anything but due to call BDM again this week. Ingrid told us it 'got lost in the mail's along with another couple's paperwork. She said the other couple had notified her a few days before we went to her house but she hadn't bothered to let us know there may have been a problem. She tried to say that she didn't have missed calls despite us calling her multiple times per day from landlines and mobiles. She should be deregistered.

I don't really know the back end.. I think she just submitted the documents when BDM trying to process our cert. We write in detail of our scenario attaching all possible documents as proofs sent to BDM.. And also associate of civil marriage celebrant.. Maybe they help to contact BDM too.. That was several months ago.. Then called to BDM everyday to follow up.. After a longgggg time.. Finally they responded saying we need to submit extra doc and start declaration for not able to contact celebrant and that she didn't submit.. But then they send another email saying Ingrid just submitted.. That's how we got it last week.

OMG, I'm in the same situation!!!! I paid full payment 13th of March. I am trying to get married 1st June.. now I'm so worried about we cannot make it.. I thought she went to vacation or touch wood.. something bad happened to her. honestly I don't feel right to vote infront her, I don't think I can smile infront her which I should feel happiness and cry..

Absolutely fantastic. Ingrid Heyn conducted the marriage in French as well as English and it was really beautiful. Such professionalism and wonderful speaking voice, and she helped us every step of the way. I would recommend this marriage celebrant. We chose the standard ceremony which is $600. Could have chosen her budget option of $250 but we wanted the works and it was well worth it.
