I discovered Iris in a bridal magazine. I went for an initial trial & was very pleased with he results so much so that I had her husband cut my hair in preparation. Iris then followed with a colour. She is very professional and down to earth & not pushy what so ever. My bridal party were so impressed with my results they also booked her in for my special day.

Best color spray tan ever. Iris is more than accommodating and can normally book you in on short notice. Quirky trip to her black back room however you will not be disappointed.

i recently got married March of this year and was referred to use Iris by a good friend of mine (one of iris' regulars). I had a Hair and Make-up trial at her salon in South Yarra and was wrapped! she made suggestions to me based on her expertise, and even put me on to my photographer. At the trial she made me stand outside of the salon to review my make-up in the daylight to ensure i was 100% happy with it and trialed a couple of different styles for my hair based on the images i brought into her.

On the day Iris arrived on time, her only request was a seat beside a window for natural light (and a coffee). I had my self, my mum and 2 bridesmaids booked in for hair and make-up, she made us all feel beautiful. the whole morning ran according to plan - Iris is really quick. She too made me go last, but that was for my convenience, obviuously being the nervous bride i was running around organising 1000 things, so atleast i got to do it in my pajamas. the make-up lasted me until the next day - and best of all, Iris has her own male-up range so i was able to purchase a pocket sized gloss to keep topping it up for the remainder of the day.

one of my bridesmaids, due to be Wed November of this year, booked Iris in on the spot for her wedding.

All in all she was great, she knows what she is talking about, and is surprisingly very well priced given she is one of the best known artists in the industry.

I had Iris as a hair and make-up artist for myself, 2 x bridesmaids and a few other family members on my wedding day.
We had all the work done at her salon and along with another hairstylist who helped with all our hair.
All her work exceeded my expectations, everyone looked amazing on the day. Make-up and hair looked natural and kept fresh my entire wedding day. Very satisfied with her professionalism, service and quality of work.

My wedding day - Iris my make up artist arrived late, she insisted on off street parking. Her flustering put panic and tension in the air. She wanted my hairdresser (who wasnt late) to move his stuff so she could have his work space, it made no difference to the light or amount of area she would have, She was demanding and self centered and bullied him until she found out who he was then started sucking up. She insisted on doing my make up last out of my 3 bridemaids so it was rushed. My face was 2 shades lighter than my body. I told her that I didnt want liner in the inner corners of my eyes due to it not suiting my eye shape but she didnt listen. I wanted to do my own lip liner but she insisted and drew a line around my lips instead of a natural line on my acutal lip edge. I looked like I was going to a heavy metal concert, my eye shadow was black and white strips, the blending was very poor. I looked gaunt and harsh - nothing like the trial. I had just enough time to remove the black from the corner of my eye and redo my lips. She doesnt like you to look in the mirror during the application, I didnt mind this at the salon trial as I thought it must be a seating arrangement for convienience but soon learnt in my home on my day that she didnt want any of us to see it until it was complete. I dont know if she made an honest error or took the chaotic opportunity to overcharge but I later worked out that she had given a different price to my MOH who paid her than what she quoted me. She dissapeared before I knew she had left. As someone who has modelled, I have had many make up artists and found her great at the trial but Iris was chalk and cheese on the actual wedding day, she didnt remember me and I had only seen her a month before. She doesnt listen, she exaggerates the amount of time applications will take and was flighty about home visit charges. I hate my wedding photos and still feel ill thinking about it, I should have just done it myself.

Quality affordable Spray tans

Iris makes her salon very warm and friendly. The pricing is very competitive at only $30 for a spray tan. In my experience bookings are pretty easy to get. I had the tan done because I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and wanted some colour. It lasted about a week.
