Great tasting food at great prices is the first thing that comes to mind. The restaurant can be a little on the noisy side due to the acoustics of the venue. Points for attempting to give it a real Irish feel

I'm yet to have a bad meal here, they offer great tasting food, served generously and tasting hot and fresh. They serve a fantastic wood fire pizza. My biggest complaint would be they still provide food service whilst allowing bar patrons to start being loud and rowdy which is fine for an adult but on the rare occasion we have had a child out with us that late (birthday celebrations) it has been difficult to exit the venue without subjecting them to this behavior (830-9pm)

The food on offer here is always of the highest standards, even when they are busy I have never noticed any lengthy waits and our food always arrives hot and cooked to order. Staff are always friendly and the venue is family friendly so long as you dine in the earlier part of the evening before pub patrons arrive. As a pub it always has a safe fun atmosphere and great local live music

I LOVE going to Irish Murphy's any time I visit Launceston, the staff are awesome, there is always live music and the general patrons are well behaved and friendly. They have an indoor and outdoor bar, the outdoor bar being on the rooftop beer garden which has heaters so its still very pleasant even in winter. My only gripe is that there are not enough ladies toilets! But five stars for everything else :)

Approximate cost: $9

The atmosphere here is good for a pub though it can be a bit loud inside especially later at night when they are busy and there is music playing. Of course they serve lots of guiness because they are Irish. They have lots of couches around to sit at and stools at the bar. There is usually no cover charge but sometimes it costs $5 for entry later at night or when a band is playing. They also have Shamrocks Restuarant inside which is a pretty nice place for a meal.

i went here about 6 months ago for tea and the food was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was so great and the staff were excellent. they have live bands playing everynight so it can get very loud and crowded. when i went there i had the the crispy skinned chicken breast which came with garlic potato...oh my god it was so nice. The staff are friendly and very prompt to serve you. The meals were decent with my meal costing around $20
