Jackson on George seems always to be very busy. I have only been downstairs, although there always seems to have great entertainment on the upper levels. Great for a dance and a laugh.

Average bar in good location on george st not far from town hall and wynyard stations. They serve food which is ok, the god thing anbout this place is that it is nicely seperated. There is the gambling level downstairs, then a sort of bistro eatery area, and then there is a younger crowd pool table area up stairs.

My husband and I had dinner here and were very happy. It was a Sunday night so it wasn't too busy. There were some musicians playing Irish music which was a nice touch.

We both had steak and they were cooked exactly the way we asked for it, great size, great price and the Bearnaise sauce was delicious. They came out quick too.

We didn't look upstairs at the other levels, but would recommend a meal downstairs for good pub grub!

I have been going to Jacksons on George for years now for various things: work lunches, after-work drinks, birthdays, and the club part. It is pretty average, but the place always manages to get a lot of people through the door. The food, drinks and service are all average. There is something for everybody at Jacksons, the bistro area, pool tables, sports bar and the dance floor area. It is fun here, but honestly there are much nicer bars in Sydney.

Been coming here for many of years now and its a great place to wind down and have a few drinks with mates or even a bite to eat. Theres a level for everyone, sports lounge, pub like level, club dancefloor and a smoking area/pool tables on the roof top. Overall they play an array of music.i havent ever eaten the food though, and the drink prices are average.

if you want average drinks and free entry to a pub which is on Georges street , close to town hall station , that's the place to go to . had a coktail that was acceptable (not great not bad for 12 $) . average age around 20 .

I was warned not to go here but have heard so much about it , I wish I would have taken my friends advise . It is such a rough bar full of tourists .I would avoid at all costs on a Friday night

Its an average pub meal, I usually go the chicken parma because its the best I have had there and I have tried quite a few different things and I get disappointed. Food has gotten better lately so might try my luck with something new! Prices are pretty reasonable though.

Approximate cost: $13
