We dropped in yesterday for a late-afternoon drink and snack. Two glasses of wine and a generous antipasto platter cost $53.00. The antipasto platter arrived on a long board, which the waitress propped up on two tins of tomatoes, which I though was odd. The ambience was casual and the staff very attentive.

Really good Italian food I have tried here. The service is quick and staff is offering just amazing service.

We ordered a burger and the pasta with a couple of sides of vegetables and polenta chips. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and the service was prompt. The food itself was good without being amazing, and the price is quite expensive for what you get. I'd happily return, but I wouldn't rush back.

Approximate cost: $30

Definitely agree with this from my experience - not like there was anything wrong with it as the food was nice enough - but you are definitely just paying for the name.

We have dined here twice now and have had positive experiences both times. The first occasion the waiter was obviously new and very nervous but was very attentive and helpful. The second time, more recently, our waiter was excellent in terms of service timing, knowledge and rapport. Prices are towards the expensive end, but if price concerns you, just look at their menu on the website ahead of time to get a feel for what you might be up for. I am a fan of the fish "plank" and also the trifle for dessert.

Both times we have dined with our baby, who is under a year old. Jamie's Italian has high chairs, a kids menu, and also was great in helping us keep our little one occupied by providing crayons, stickers and a colouring-in sheet. They were very welcoming and accommodating of children which, frankly, helps make a parent's experience just that much nicer :)

Tip: If booking, I'd recommend calling and asking for a booth. If you have a young child, ask if you can have a high chair at the end of the booth. Our daughter likes to wander around so we liked being able to alternate her seating between the high chair and the booth seat with us.

Approximate cost: $20-35

you cue up to get a table at Jamies italian but wouold say its worth it. we ordered a bread basket which was amazing and only $1.50 to boot. Serving size was ok. The Terramisu was great. Service was ok. The girl we had obviously had other things on her mind but we were issued dinner pretty quickly considering the place was packed out.

Approximate cost: $35

The portions were pretty small. However, the food was really nice, the location was pretty good they have tables inside and outdoors. The staff were really friendly and they were really well trained.

Approximate cost: $40
