I walked into Jane's practice with very uncomfortable lower back pains which I'd been suffering for the past 2 weeks; almost miraculously after about half an hour of consultation, massage and gentle exercises I walked out 90% better; after a further two weeks of strictly following Jane's exercise regime I'm now 100% better. On Jane's advice I'll continue with the daily exercise program to make sure the problem doesn't return. Have already recommended Jane to various friends and colleagues; really cant fault the friendly and very professional service I received in any way; just fantastic.

I have suffered lower-back discomfort for five years, since having my first child. Having heard from another physio that building core-strength can improve mobility and reduce pain, I tried a few sit-ups at home and discovered that the diastasis recti (abdominal separation) I had been diagnosed with two years ago, following the birth of my second child, hadnt healed itself as I had assumed it had. My doctor confirmed diagnosis, added scoliosis and minor pelvic-instability to my list of ailments and sent me to Jane. I only saw Jane Watson for 5 sessions. I am writing this post because people like Jane ought to be talked about more. Not only has she cured the near-constant back ache that many people had told I would have to live with, that was normal for a mother of my age who carried her toddler often, but Jane Watson has made my back stronger! I feel better than I have ever felt, and my 4.3cm abdominal separation is 1cm (many people told me this could only be achieved with surgery). Having provided me with exercises I could easily and quickly fit into my lifestyle, Jane refused to make money from me by seeing me often, she encouraged me to do the exercises at home and I feel both grateful and empowered to have, with Jane's expert advice, made myself strong and pain-free. And it is a nice bonus to have a flat belly again...

I had terrible pain in my back after doing stretches that put pressure on the base of my spine. At one point, I couldn't even walk because the pain was so bad. I managed to schedule an appointment with Jane and she helped me identify why I was in so much pain. She took me through how my spine was being forced in an unnatural direction by the bad stretch and gave me a few different exercises and stretches to help manage the injury. The pain is now completely managed and gone. Thanks Jane.

Jane was a fantastic resource for my 12mth old little boy. He has hypermobility & could only sit up in the one spot at 1. No crawling or shuffling etc. After 3 monthly sessions with Jane, he was crawling, standing confidently & cruising furniture. Jane has a very pleasant manner with children and is great at motivating them. She only required him to come once a month & lots of exercises to be done at home. I cannot recommend her more highly, especially with children.

I had been diagnosed as having a bulging disc and needed to commence physiotherapy to resolve my problem. If it did not resolve I would be facing surgery. Jane?s approach is sympathetic and caring; she explained why my injury exists and what was exacerbating my pain. By following the McKenzie Method, and by altering my lifestyle slightly, I am managing my own pain and recuperating well. There truly is strength in knowledge and this is the key to Jane?s treatment philosophy.
