I was at my wits end trying to work out my new problem in 2011... after giving the western advice a go for most of the year, i wasnt any better, they had no idea what to do. I went to Jenny, and within 30 secs had told me what was going on... I also double checked with another natural clinic, and they failed my test. I followed Jenny's advice, and my problem went from 100% horrible to 98 % better... I would not hesitate to follow her advice, sometimes you dont want to hear what you might have to do to get better... and it can seem costly, but spending a couple of $100 upfront for good advice and treatment that works is better than spending $100's slowly with western medicine and no result , How much is your health worth? Highly recommend Jenny. :)

I called Jenny Chou clinic to arrange a Chinese medicine and acupuncture appointment.

When I arrived at the appointment I was given a pee test and told I had to remove the heavy metals from my body. The practitioner recommended that I take some incredibly expensive supplements, 'zeolites', in order to remove these metals. The clinic also recommended that I bring some water from my regular drinking sources to test for unhealthy metals, as these were often present in regular drinking water and further contaminated people.

I explained that I only wanted chinese medicine and acupuncture and didn't want zeolites and . She told me that this was futile until I'd cleansed myself of heavy metals.

This was very frustrating and in my view a waste of the appointment.
Acupuncture has been the subject of many sound scientific studies which prove it has at least some effectiveness, and chinese medicine does too.

However, zeolites as a therapy has had very, very negative scientific reviews. Furthermore, they are not what I came to the appointment for.

I recommend that if you go to this clinic, you politely ask- when making the appointment - whether you will be receiving treatment for heavy metals or whether Zeolites are sold at the clinic. The answer will be yes. Then, you can google this treatment and see how expensive these debunked supplements are.

Please note, I am not critisizing anyone who believes in this medicine, or attacking this clinic in a personal way. A quick google search will show the difference between the results for chinese medicine or acupuncture studies and those for zeolites.

Approximate cost: $80 for the appointment plus 100 for the supplements.

I have been seeing Jenny Chou for about 10 years (if not a little longer). She is amazing. They offer treatment on the 'biocom' machine (needless accupuncture), traditional accupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, naturopathy and more. Jenny has helped me with various medical problems along with family members and friends. She doesnt try to push expensive herbs and teas on you, but if she suggests it, I highly recommend them because they do work. She also doesnt push for you to go back regularly unless she honestly believes it will help you.
