Authentic Indian food in a quaint setting. Expect all your mainstream dishes but some that you hardly ever see. All curries come with your option of Mild, Medium or Hot and the flavours are mouth watering. On the Friday night we dined, there were approx 7 parties dining as well as people arriving all the time for takeaway pick-ups, however, we would have waited no longer than 10 minutes for our food to arrive.
If you are in the area and and feel like some Indian, head on in, you won't be disappointed.

I would've never thought of visiting this place due to the set up...a restaurant set up in a queenslander-looking-like-building. We were introduced to this placed due to a voucher for "All You Can Eat Meal" deal for two.
I didn't like the set up inside of restaurant - very low ceiling, not much space between tables and chairs. The set up also looked very temporary and cheap. Prices were about average though.
I loved their food right from the entree we had - Shared Plater. Then each of us chose different curry dishes - lamb and chicken. Meats in both dishes were tender and curry sauce very tasty. What was mild in hotness, was mild...the same applied to medium hot...not too hot but also not mild. Yummy. I only did not like papadums as they cover in oil more than necessary.
It is a BYO restaurant so definitely a worth of bring your own bottle of wine. Service was polite.

I can easily say these guys make Indian food very well...the best I have ever had so far.

This restaurant is (from memory) located where Ashoka used to be, but is far better than what we ever had from there. Not sure if it's the same people under a different name, or just a coincidence to have two indian restaurants there consecutively. Either way, we picked up a group-buying voucher online to try this place out, and unlike some such deals, they didn't disappoint. Both the food and the service were great, and the mango lassi was the best I've had yet; pricing is about standard with most indian restaurants. Both me and my husband agree that we've found our new favourite indian restaurant, we'll definitely be returning again.

Approximate cost: $18
