My white couch was damaged with a hole torn in it by the removalists when they were dragging and trying to jam it in the lift (while I was watching them so know this is how the damage occurred). It is to the point I need it reupholstered as it is not repairable. There’s also stains all over the couch which cannot be removed without damaging the fabric as advised by uphosterers that have assessed the couch. The removalist have argued with me saying they didn’t cause the damage and are refusing to now contact me or lodge an insurance claim as requested even though the damage was noticed and I informed them 10 minutes after they had left which is well within their requirements listed on their website to be notified in 24 hours. They are also refusing to provide a receipt for the service they provided. Office chair was also broken by them, but again, they aren’t taking any ownership. They demanded payment prior to the job being completed then questioned why I paid when there was damage. I would NOT recommend booking these people.
