great food, although you pay for the pleasure. also, i would not recommend most of the fried dishes. must haves include the yabby sushi and miso soup, pork belly, wagyu salad, eggplant, eel and many more

A bit pricey for the size of the dishes and style of restaurant( salmon teriyaki for 19.90). Teriyaki chicken didn't come with rice, it was rather salty and was just really ordinary, but on a pricey side. Not happy with price and service.

The lunch sets are very nice and of a decent size. You can choose from a variety of meat/fish/vegetable choices and it comes with miso soup, rice and a small dessert. One time we got a coffee jelly that was delicious. The second time it was a savoury baked egg moose(?) that I found a little bit strange.
The restaurant tends to fill out quickly for both lunch and dinner so you'll want to make a reservation.

Came here for my birthday. We had a large group (around 8 people) and the service was friendly and quick but not spectacular. The quality of the food was amazing!! Even though we were absolutely full by the end we still got dessert. There was not one dish that I thought was not fresh quality ingredients. Very satisfied and will definately be back.

This place is always packed with people so it is recommended to make a booking before you go! The food is really good - I am japanese so I can say this is really authentic japanese, and high quality too. Sashimi is really fresh, and anything on today's special is worth going for. Although don't expect a high degree of service as it is always busy. Dessert was a bit disappointing in my view. Overall recommended if you want authentic quality japanese!

A wonderful traditional Japanese restaurant that is perfect for lunch and dinner. Great lunch specials, meals $10-$15 - and the Chef is from a small village in Japan making it very authentic! Cosy atmosphere, but book or get in early as it quickly fills up

Approximate cost: $15
