I also was wanting to try see what this place was about in the valley. I win tickets to a show here also cant remember what show tho as was 18 mths ago. We did buy drinks tho spirits and soft drinks. Parking is $12, down the back of the street in the parking station. Decor inside is lovely, not bright but can be very alluring.the theatre was bigger than i expected tho. Make a night of it,across the rd and the opp corner are some great eating places. The centre is well established, close to transport and well worth the night out
Thought this place was just great. Been living in Brisbane for years and didn't even know it was there. The Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts had a show on tonight that I won tickets to. Fright or Fight. The show it self was great. What I like about this place is that it was clean the prices for drinks were reasonable. Staff were friendly and parking in the car park across the road is only $6.00 for the night. They have shows that are adult only or some where you can take your kids. Depending on the show the prices range from $11.50 to $35.00 there about. If you are looking for something a bit different. Then check out what shows they have on.
