I wrote a review last year ... and have been back several times since then; however, on my last two visits I've been left with an incomplete haircut where the hairdresser missed cutting large areas of my hair and on my final visit the hairdresser cut my hair much shorter than requested; very disappointing.

I have been there a few times looking for a cheap haircut as all I want is basically a trim. They always tend to take too much off leaving me with hair that sticks up and looks terrible for a few weeks. Luckily my hair grows quickly, but I definitely won't be going back. And they aren't that cheap any more either. I now pay less but get the cut I want elsewhere.

I've been to several different Just Cut stores in the past and find that I've experienced the longest wait times at the Waurn Ponds store. Very busy which is great for them but not so great when you are wanting a quick haircut which is the main reason for choosing Just Cuts. The dvd players for children to watch might be a great idea for children and their parents however the volume playing was very loud for me and not pleasant. Reasonable haircut service for a reasonable price

Only place I can take my son and he will happily have his hair cut. The little tv's help a lot too.

Best part, you just walk in! No appointments needed. The hairdressers do change and that's the downside because the result is very operator dependant. So far so good though.

Friendly staff. Bright salon. Easy to get a cut with no appointment necessary. Price is very reasonable. Great for a spur of the moment decision.

Though there are plenty of 'Just Cuts' around - they are definitely not all the same. I have tried several in the Geelong area and have always been disappointed except for the Waurn Ponds location. I consistently have great hair cuts at Waurn Ponds, despite having different hairdressers nearly all of the time. Each store is managed by different people so they must be doing something right to keep delivering the goods. The Waurn Ponds salon is the furtherest away from me now since I've moved however I will continue to go back because it's worth it. They have a great assortment of magazines to read and it's a 'chic' looking salon too. Their haircare products are good, especially 'Edgy' which is like a defrizz hair smoothing product. They have 'frequent flyer cards' as in, each time you go they stamp your card and you can have $4 off a haircut and eventually $6 off.
