My pet was mis-diganosed and we had to pay a high fee for it!
Expensive and inefficient
Fortunately, we found a good Vet Clinic that helped us and our pet recover in no time
Our experience was really bad - Avoid this place if you can

I am new to the area and they fit me in at last minute which was amazing !As soon as I walked in I got a great, welcoming feeling.
The vet and the vet nurse were amazing and I will definitely be using this vet again.
Could not be happier

I trust these people completely - reception, nurses, vets - all clearly care about their patients and the worried 'parents'!!

Service and consideration from the team has never been short of wonderful and they go beyond expectations.

Feel very fortunate having the Karingal Veterinary Hospital close by.

I have been visiting Karingal Vet Hospital many years and their service has always been excellent. The staff are lovely, friendly to both people and pets! The vets are compassionate, informative and approachable. I would recommend them to anyone with a pet - and have done so!

Wonderful! Never had any problems, staff are always friendly and explain things properly. Wouldn't go anywhere else, the waiting and treatment rooms are bright and welcoming

I have tried other places for my cats annual check-ups and vaccinations (in an effort to save some money) but you get what you pay for in this world. Although I think they might be a bit expensive (aren't all animal related things expensive now?) but the service and attendion really is very good. When I leave here with my cats, I really feel like they have been given a careful and thorough check of their health, and I always get good advice from the friendly staff.

Approximate cost: $approx $100 for check and vaccination

Have been to the Karingal Vet a couple of times now. Each time the staff have been very friendly and helpful. I cannot fault the attention my two dogs have received. The care that my Mikey recived when he had pancreetitis would put many of our human hospitals to shame. The care that Mikey received was very professional and compassionate. Special thanks to Bronwyn for her nursing. I never felt they were taking short cuts with their care. When it comes to my two pups I am happy to pay for the best.

Not a good experience at all. To the point i even wrote a complaint to the karingal vet about how unhappy I was, the way my complaint was handled by the owner further cemented the dissatisfaction I have towards this clinic. Seems to me the goal is to grab the dollar by pushing products and services and to attempt to make you feel guilty for going with the sale then and there. I ended up finding another local vet to treat my dog with arthritis and we visited that clinic on a monthly basis for 2 years until my dog passed away recently. Karingal vet have unhelpful staff, pushy vets, and are overpriced. However, I will credit them on their 24hr dog wash located at the rear of their building. If you also have not been happy with their service do not bother making a complaint as you will not doubt only be verbally attacked by the owner.

Approximate cost: $Too much

Yes $$$ hungry and they care nothing
A friend of mine phoned them to find out if she could bring her Chihuahua for nail trimming and the price was only between $ 55 to $ 85.A real robbery! They are shameless

I have been to this vet a few times. Its quite expensive, and I was not happy with the service considering they give me the wrong advice. Would go back there only if i couldnt get in any where else. They used to be a great vet, but over the last few years service seems to be lacking.

Approximate cost: $ALOT

have been sending all of my pets to the team at KVH for 20 years now,can honestly say that they are extremly knowledged,skillfull,caring,compassionate,...
blood tests on the spot, operating theatres, only downside is that they arent 24 hrs,and you have to go to the local emergency vets,of whom are good, but charge much more than KVH,and KVH isnt cheap.
But,the team are just wonderful at KVH and have allowed me (disabled low income pensioner)to pay off many accounts.
Without such,my animals would never get the treatment that they have needed.
Thanks to the great vets, especially Dr Craig Reeves ad Barb Bakhoy....

Was happy with the service, however it is quite expensive there. Would go back again, if i cant get in anywhere else.

I didn't find the staff to be very helpful or friendly and have since found another vet down the road. They do have a 24 hour dog wash though which is very handy!

Great with your animals. Show a lot of love and care. But price is ridiculous. I was originally quoted 200 odd dollars (total price) to get a splinter removed from my dogs foot. When i went to pay it somehow made it's way to almost 500 dollars.

This clinic seem very interested in making money first and foremost. A very overpriced service compared to other vets in the area. Staff are friendly but you are always left feeling that it's only to make a quick dollar. Vets are competent but make no mistake, this place is out to make a quid out of you and your fury friends.

We have taken all our pets to the Karingal Veterinary Hospital over the years, but it is not until you lose a close family friend, in our case our beautiful Golden Retriever, that you appreciate the compassion, and the genuine caring that the staff show towards the family and your pet. Thanks.

The most amazing place for people to take care of their pets. Both of my dogs had had the greatest care there - the vets really do now their stuff, the service is brilliant and very very personalized - would take my pet there again 200%!!

The staff seem nice enough here, but their prices are over & above any other vet we have been to, but the care is not that outstanding that they can charge like they do. We haven't been back there due to the high fees but have found another local vet with excellent care for much less

joet294 05 Oct 2022

yes, you said it all. $$$$$$ and more $$$$$ is what they want and no customer care or service at all

Everyone at Karingal Vet Hospital are lovely. I recently adopted a little puppy and had been to another vet previously who were not very nice so it was lovely to have a service show love and care for my 'baby' as much as I do. Their services are thorough and they do not over charge you.

Excellent service, my dog had been mauled by another dog, they were wonderful, caring, prompt to serve us and inexpensive too. They calmed my dog down and me too!

Great Vet Clinic, they offer all the best advise and explain things clearly and you get a take home report of your visit that helps you remember everything you were told.

I have used this vet for years and have always been extremely happy with the time and care they have taken with me andmy pets. Very thorough and take the time to explain things to me so I understand what my dogs need. I am always happy to refer my friends here.

These guys looked after my snake when he wasn't well and are the only vet qualified to care for reptiles on the whole peninsula, otherwise I would have had to travel over an hour. Great rates too, and gentle care.
