Kava Cafe gets very busy with the local trade, so don't just turn up and expect a table. Book a few days in advance. They have a menu with pizzas and few choices and lots of daily specials. I had the pasta which was disappointing, as the sauce and pasta weren't home made which really lets a pasta dish down. My husband had the steak and he really loved it, and the garlic bread pizzas were deliciously salty, you couldn't get enough. Street parking and you can BYO. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Approximate cost: $30

Amazing food, coffee and service...finally in Bicton and 7 days a week too
I have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner and had take away gourmet pizza
the sauces and produce seem to be very fresh and handmade eg. pesto, mayo etc
I like the fact that the coffee is 5 senses fair trade organic...very good for you and the world

Just bought coffee and a biscuit from them, takeaway- EFTPOS/CC facilities available if you spend over $10. Great coffee & biscuit, didn't really have time to sit down there, otherwise would have ordered one of their cakes or something off the lunch menu. Gourmet style food on the menu, stylishly decor. Will definitely go back to sample their food.

I am addicted to this place! I recommend the prawn pasta off the lunch menu otherwise the lamb shank or any of the wood fired pizzas at night...
