Great little sandwich/coffee/juice bar in West Perth, near Parliament building. Good choice of turkish bread/sandwiches- pretty busy, if you get there late, there's typically only the lamb wrap (why I don't know as it's actually quite nice) available.
Approximate cost: $8
Great place for a late night feed- their burgers are one of the best in Perth. Kind of neat that you can hire board games to play too!
Probably the best Asian hairdresser in WA- they know how to cut a design that suits your hair type and face shape. Have left the shop with a smile on my face every time. Nice that you can usually walk in and get an appointment then too!
My favourite restaurant in Perth! The waitstaff are for the most part professional, the food is outstanding- love the steak, salmon... they also serve foie gras. If you have time, the degustation is great option. When you visit, the dessert menu is a must! Unfortunately, they no longer serve fondant :(
Not overly special, but I have found myself going there on weekends for a quiet coffee or late lunch. Standard cafe/restaurant menu and prices, nice atmosphere during the day makes a trip there worthwhile though. Can't comment on evenings as I've never been there at night.
Used to go here a fair bit when I passed through that area, but now that I no longer pass that way, it's not really special enough for a special trip. For a coffee and cake- recommended; for a meal- not recommended, especially the pasta.
Like Cold Rock but healthier (if you choose!) and you get to make it yourself. Still a novelty to me- you get to pick your yoghurt flavour, serving yourself, after which you select the toppings you want, again serving yourself- loads of options, some healthy, some not so.. At the end, your tub gets weighed and you pay according to the weight. Great concept I think, and they yoghurt's yummy! Kinda pricey when you start putting lots of toppings on it, but I guess having loads of toppings reverses the goodness of it!
Great selection of cakes, muffins (they have fruit in them!!), cookies, doughnuts & savoury pies, sausage rolls & pasties. They of course also serve coffee, and have a slushy machine. Reasonably priced and really friendly staff. Nice casual spot to meet up with friends.
Good Korean & Japanese food, not as cheap as Taka's across the road but a good option if they're busy and you wanted a good meal. Lots of variety in their menu- smaller sized options to full sets. I've been there for lunch and dinner, both times I wasn't disappointed. Their sushi rolls aren't bad and their sets are generous portions!
The best ice rink in WA, because of it's size and good quality ice- not allowed to melt to a ridiculous level. Skates available for hire. It'd be good if more public sessions were available during the weekends.
