Place is rubbish, Raymond Dodd's eldest daughter Alanna is a nuisance, Dodd family is lucky I haven't filed restraining orders against them or even worse, NEVER ATTEND THIS PLACE AT ALL I MEAN IT.

This place has a cosy feel and old world country charm from the blue stone walls to the chesterfield lounges. The prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. Your sure to find something to please the tastebuds.

This place is worth a visit even just for the heritage factor! What a lovely old pub with so much character. Apparently it's "Australia's oldest family owned hotel" and over 150 years old. Menu had plenty on offer & meals nice although a little exe.

This was a last minute decision to stop and have a meal, and we were extremely happy, the old Hotel is done up like an old shopping strip way back in the day, lots to look at, the staff were really friendly, the drinks and entree came out promptly, my husband ordered a medium to well steak, and that is exactly what he got, I had pasta which was really nice, and my daughters chicken strips were actually chicken, not nuggets. Overall I would recommend the Hotel to anyone, its out of the way, so not a lot of traffic noise, really nice.

Approximate cost: $25.00

Was a good old pub/hotel where you could get a decent meal for a decent price. Now cost is a bit on the $$$ side. They had a change of owners and it didn't really improve

I've been frequenting this pub for a number of years now, and the food is hard to fault. It's a pub menu (ie. chicken parma, steaks etc) but with a few differences (ie paella, asian sampler plate and a recently introduced tapas menu). The food is tasty and fresh, the specials are changed regularly. There is a nice open fireplace which is cranked up in winter. There has recently been an influx of new staff too. It's a little pricy for a pub with pokies but is local. Plenty of parking too. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Approximate cost: $> $18

a very quaint homely sort of place!! The service is a bit slow but the meals are so amazing that I don't really care too much as you have more time to converse with your friends and family.

I love the charm and character of this old hotel. It also has an amazing alfresco area. The food is amazing, I've yet to have a bad meal here. It is average to pricey for a hotel but the great tasting food and ambiance of the place more than makes up for it. My favourite bistro/pub.

Approximate cost: $25.00
