As far as pubs go, King O'malleys is nice enough. Good location and plenty of space. Good variety of food and good prices. Often lives bands which make the atmosphere enjoyable.

Brilliant pub right in the CBD. This place is usually pretty busy but it is large enough to accommodate a big crowd. There is lots of outdoor seating and in the cooler months they have outdoor heaters to keep you toasty warm. They do basic pub food, burgers and chips etc for a good price and decent sized servings. Lots of different beers on tap, good range of ciders too. There is often live music but they have a designated stage area so if you prefer it a bit quieter then it's easy to stay at the back and not get drowned out by the noise.

Love this pub - it is very big and has a lot of spots to sit, as well as a huge outdoor area. Because of Canberra's laws there is no smoking in the outdoor section so it can actually be pleasant. They have live music playing which is awesome because the crowds sing along, dance and make for a great atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced but it's sometimes hard to get to the bar because of crowds. I've only eaten there once but it came out at a reasonable time and was delicious.

Great Irish Pub in the middle of Canberra. It has a really nice interior and lots of different beers. The food was good, if a little expensive, and the staff were excellent.

The best Irish pub I've been to in Australia so far. There's a lot of separate rooms so you can always find a quiet spot, they get in great local acts and have a good range of local & imported beers at very reasonable prices. Atmosphere here is second to none.

Great Irish pub in town. Great friendly atmosphere. Great range of drinks. The beers on tap seem to get better every time I go. Love this pub.

A good place for a get-together with friends. The meals are decent (I've had better), but are reasonably priced and arrive in fair enough time. Lots of sitting available, and lots outside if you want to brave the cold. Inside has a nice Irish feel to it. Heaps of performers too.

A Canberra classic. King O's is a great place to chill, have a cheapish drink, and listen to typical pub music. It is exactly what it looks like.

great place for a beer and a decent meal. atmosphere was great, the staff where great to deal with, quick and easy to deal with.

The food is as expected pub food, I had the beef and guiness pie and it was pretty bland.
However I have had better food there before.
Expensive cocktails but other drinks are priced as expected.
