We have stayed here twice now for mini breaks and love the self contained units they are clean and tidy and have enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves without getting under each others feet which was important to us. We especially liked the 3 bedroom unit as it was considerably larger than the 2 bedroom unit. We could hear the neighbours conversations quite clearly but only when they were entertaining on the deck out the front. There is a jumping pillow for the kids,pedal carts and tennis courts with hire facitlities which we made good use of. We made good use of the free gas BBQ. The holiday park is located right on the estuary and right across the road from a calm beach. They quite often have great special deals. They have everything from unpowered sites to the chalets.

My friend and I had to attend a wedding in Bunbury and drove from Perth. We found the accomodation quite easily thanks to the map supplied on the Discovery Holiday Parks website. Not being familiar with Bunbury we found the central location of the park great and the amentiies and chalet were clean, inviting and well presented.

My family have been staying at Koombana Bay for a week every year since 2001. We were very happy with the accommodation until the business came under new management, and service and standards dropped remarkably. The units are never clean enough, the lawn is always half-dead, and not maintained properly, and it is now terribly overpriced. The only positive is the location, the units look out over the inlet and the resort is just across the road from the beach.
