What a delicious place to visit whilst in Denmark, we love bringing our friends here you get to sample some of the toffee and spreads before you buy them which i love and you can see their staff working in the factory. They also sell ice-cream which they make right there and then for you, they have their own cider called "elephants rocks cider" which i didnt personally taste but have heard it is really good. We love buying the sauces there from the "A bit on the side" range, try the roasted garlic herb infusion on a nice focaccia loaf and bake in the oven until crusty, its soooo yummy!!. It's very family friendly and have some amusing scenery as you drive in haha.

Approximate cost: $2.50 and up

This review is for Atwell Aubin Grove Vet, Aubin Grove WA

We usually attend another vet surgery but were staying with friends last week and luckily Atwell Aubin Grove vet was close by!! I came out of our friends home theatre to find blood all over their tiles and rugs!!! i found it was my dog who was bleeding everywhere from a cut pad on her left paw (which we found later was from a smashed glass table from the storm).I rang my friend and she suggested taking my dog to her local vet as it was much closer than our regular one, i rang the vet and they said to bring her in straight away, luckily my friend was able to come home and look after my baby so i could take our dog, when i got there the staff were so considerate given we were not their regular customers and they were fully booked that day. Raj gave me an estimated quote for all the treatments our dog would need so i was not left wondering how much the bill would come to. That afternoon i got a message to say she had come out of theatre and was fine, something i thought was personal and very much appreciated, it put my mind at ease. When i collected her the vet nurses went through all her medications with me. There aren't enough words to express how good the staff are at this small vet surgery are, they are true animal lovers. If we lived in the city i would take our dog back there for all her vet needs. Highly recommend this vet.

We have stayed here twice now for mini breaks and love the self contained units they are clean and tidy and have enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves without getting under each others feet which was important to us. We especially liked the 3 bedroom unit as it was considerably larger than the 2 bedroom unit. We could hear the neighbours conversations quite clearly but only when they were entertaining on the deck out the front. There is a jumping pillow for the kids, pedal carts and tennis courts with hire facitlities which we made good use of. We made good use of the free gas BBQ. The holiday park is located right on the estuary and right across the road from a calm beach. They quite often have great special deals. They have everything from unpowered sites to the chalets.

This review is for Barbados, Bunbury WA

Barbados has a really nice atmosphere, during the day its relaxed and you can have a lovely lunch looking over the water, the food is very good and always comes out at the same time for the whole table,we found the chilli prawns were a good size for me but not for my dad who eats a bit more but they are sooo tasty that he still always orders them. At night it must get quite busy there is a dance floor although ive never been there at night but my brother has and he always had a good time. Staff are friendly and there are a few that ive seen there over the years which i think is really positive. We usually go twice a year to bunbury and always have lunch there.

We ate here last week and rolled out of the restuarant, the food is really really nice, they have the menu up on the wall and it is jam packed with tasty cuisine, be prepared for large meals so if you are a small eater may be a good idea to share. They are well priced as it is a country town but you do get your moneys worth on the plate. they have everything from vegetarian meals to seafood platters. You do need to book though its popular amongst the locals and tourists.

We stopped in for a very tasty honey ice-cream, we also loved looking for the queen bee in the see through hive they have instore. We like that they have mostly natural products made from the honey and the range of honey to buy was delicious. This place has room for caravans and trailers to turn in.

This review is for Willoughby Park Winery, Denmark WA

We have only recently moved to Denmark and had some friends come and visit from the city so we thought we would have lunch here, its a winery and a brewery so you get the best of both worlds you enter into the winery for tastings and purchasing and then go in this massive area where you can eat and the beer is on tap. Lunch was amazing and very generous! we had the garlic prawn pizza, fish of the day, chicken burger and steak sandwich no one was left unsatisified after that meal, the guys enjoyed the 6 pot of beer tasting paddle and loved it. The waitress we had was very friendly and knew the menu off by heart, we were lucky to be there on a quiet day but she said they can average 150-200 people over the day during the busy season so i would recommend booking ahead as it is well worth it. The really good thing about this place is that they cater for families with children, there is a big outdoor playground for them to burn some energy and you can dine outside to make supervising easy, aswell as a corner full of play equpiment inside to keep young ones entertained. We will definitely be returning with all of our family and friends who come to visit us!!

This is a really good hairdressing studio, the ladies are lovely here, they are up for a good chat if you want it or leave you to relax and flick through the magazines, i haven't had a problem ever, they colour and cut really well but best of all are well priced. I've seen all age groups in there from little old ladies getting their perms to mums with their bubs in prams all the while the staff are accommodating. I have only used Kiara but have always seen a steady stream of people with the other lady. its a great quiet and personal studio!!
