Love this place and is a great place to start or stay for a few if you're in Newtown. They do great cocktails and happy hour is always a treat. Love the atmosphere and the decor. Can get very busy & squishy though.

his place is a great fallback option or starter for the night if you're in Newtown. They have an extensive cocktail list but having said that a lot of them recycle the same ingredients e.g cranberry juice, lychees etc so they only really have super-sweet drinks. The specialty cocktails on the second level are pretty decent and the furnishings are pretty swish! Try to be early to get a seat and avoid the thick crowds during happy hour.

I went there for a school reunion, the cocktails were great tasting and looked immaculate. There were comfy couches upstairs but no smoking lounge or courtyard. They were very busy and it took quite a while to get a drink. After happy hour the drinks are very expensive and the service still slow. But still, always a classy place to start the night.

They have happy hour and a half from 6-7:30 on all days (except weekends I think when it's until 7pm), which means you can get 2 of the same cocktail for about $14 all up. Also serves bar food. Has a great atmosphere, full of uni students and can get VERY crowded during happy hour. Head upstairs for more room, which has been refurbished.
