This place is good and they serve so special meals that you have longed for. You can order simple and delicate meals here. The price is not excessive on some quicker prepared meals but can be quite costly on a meal for two if you order steak.

Hadn't had fried lambs brains since I was a kid. They were delicious. So were the other dishes on the menu. The hot baguettes were also very delicious

I had been to this lovely restaurant in Rozelle many years ago but only as a "cafe" patron. It used to and may still be a sort of cafe/restaurant during the day. However, it was time to return. It is very very French and one of the few real French restaurants left in Sydney. I was happy to be in a French atmosphere and speak French with the two exceptional waiters.
I knew it would be expensive but I was looking forward to a decent French meal. The downside was that they do not have ordinary steak on the menu. Very disappointing! One can order a steak but it's for two people and about $100. So, I had to settle for the next best thing which was the steak tartare (raw steak cum mince meat). It was absolutely fantastic and well worth the price. My partner had veal and that was exceptiopnally good too. One of the failings of Australian restaurants is that they charge extra for vegetables. This is positively not in the French culture except at La Grande Bouffe. Disappointing!
To overcome all this disappointment therestaurant excelled in its presentation of a small entree of snails which were delicious and their lovely French bread. They also do a special three courses for $60 in the week. A most fantastic experience.

My wife took me here for lunch and I loved it. Food is authentic and they have real French baguettes. Try the duck baguette for lunch. Awesome. Took our 4 month old and it was fine. Plenty of space for pram and ample parking.

Favourite French food in town. Breakfast menu is rather unique. Dinner menu is fantastic and patrons have the option of a cheaper do with an early 3 course meal. I love the events they organise (e.g. Bojoulais season).

Fantastic degustation menu....i've had plenty of degustation meals that have left me groaning and dreading the next course. Not here - each course was beautifully presented and well matched with wines provided by our charming waiter (who isn't a sucker for a french accent?).
They do sneak in the odd bit of offal (tongue for example), which i think is a great thing - my companions were raving about it before realising what they were eating. Addictive baguettes, glorious goats cheese souffle and gorgeous little petit fours.
My only gripe is that they've changed the comfy chairs outside!
