very good croissants, soup just okay, most cakes really good, bread is excellent. Very french feel to it. Nice place to sit and relax with a friend. Service is friendly.

From my experience, they are amongst the best and most reliable pastry shops in the eastern suburbs. Fresh pastries and superbly made macarons. Technically spot on products.
They also make a delicious tarte tropezienne.

I have been sampling the macaroons on offer around town (everyone seems to think they can pull it off since the Zumbo/Masterchef effect plunged them into the spotlight) and this is the first time I almost literally had to wipe the drool from my chin. I purchased 6 different flavours and they were absolutely bursting with flavour (with the exception of pistachio which while lovely, was heaving on the awesomeness but low on the pistachio).
We tried pistachio, lemon, chocolate, rose water, raspberry + one other that has slipped my mind. Will be coming back for more, and will no longer buy macaroons anywhere else if I can help it.

Great little pastries and fantastic crusty bread. They also do a nice coffee and some yummy light lunches. Service is a little slow on a weekend. It's a tight squeeze if you're eating in.

Approximate cost: $5+

This is an adorable little patisserie with delicious little cakes and pastries as well as great coffee and hot chocolates. It is based on the patisseries in France and you can even order in French if you feel so inclined! I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially the almond croissants.
