It is a basic cafe but the coffee is good, the food is good and the view / surroundings are excellent.

We wanted a light lunch today (Friday 26 Aug 2016), so two of us shared a falafel wrap (excellent), which came with a mixed salad (very good) and a beautiful dressing flavoured with lemon and oregano (excellent and not oily). We also ordered a small fries (excellent) and we had tea and coffee (great).

When busy I am sure the service might be slow but today it was quiet and the service was great and friendly. Be patient if it is busy - this would be a hard place to make viable, so it deserves to be supported.

Sunday, 8 Aug 2016, went with a friend today and found the service appalling, the barrista was rude, no one said good morning or thanked you for your custom, the waitress was pleasant at least, I paid at the counter for a coffee and tea, after about 40 minutes the tea arrived and when I inquired as to the coffee, I was told please pay and order at the counter, I said I have. Mysteriously, the coffee appeared in 3 minutes. However it was grainy and the the milk was burnt. They were not busy, perhaps because we were gay they didn't like us? Never again.

A group of nine of us went to the Parramatta Lake Cafe and the service and food was quite good. The gentleman that I think was the owner was very friendly and helpful. The waitresses did a fine job but lacked English speaking skills so we couldn't involve them in conversation to anything more than our orders. overall experiance quite relaxing and lovely

The food you expect at home and the picturesque surrounds you wish were your own! The staff are friendly and with 12ha of bushland to enjoy, you can easily walk off what you've eaten.

Very nice eating by parramatta lake,food is varied ,and good quality.Price was reasonable.They do breakfast also ,which is a really nice menu.Casual feel ,service was good and attentive.Sit inside and out on verandahs,with lake views.

The service for great, the staffs were friendly and the order came quickly. The view from the cafe was exquisite. The place was clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. Very much recommended.
