Decided to stay here with my partner, to celebrate my 50th Birthday.
Arrived in the middle of a very hot afternoon (temp of around 41 degrees!) and we parked ourselves in the sports bar for a few hours.
We then had a choice of 2 restaurants for dinner - The Lakefront Bistro or Crusoe's Restaurant. The bistro is a more relaxed area, while Crusoe's is a bit more "high end" and pricey.
We chose the Bistro and had a beautiful roast dinner.
As part of our package, we had a hot breakfast delivered to our room the next day. We enjoyed it on our balcony, over looking some canoe races that were happening on the lake.

All rooms at the Lakes resort, have an east facing lake view, which gives you full sun in the morning.
Each booking also comes with a continental breakfast as part of the price. (A hot breakfast is extra).

A great place to stay - highly recommend.... 9/10!

If you are looking for fantastic accommodation while you are in town for the footy, or just want somewhere to stay for a night or two this place has a great function room and a great view. Very nice and relaxing place to stay. Excellent clean, well presented rooms and a good restaurant, with great service. I stayed here a few years back when a friend and I had just started a new business venture together. We held an information night to present our services to business clients and the night made a great statement.

We stayed here a few years ago and the rooms were lovely. We had a spa room and I loved it. The bar was great and we went down for breakfast in the morning which was sensational.

The Lakefront Bistro at this hotel has a very pleasant outlook over the lake. I enjoyed atlantic salmon and my husband had the beef schnitzel. Both dishes were well prepared and served in a timely way. The staff are friendly and eating area well maintained. There is a more formal restaurant at this hotel which I would like to visit for a special occasion. Drinks (lemon lime and bitters) were reasonably priced too. However, a word of caution about parking when AAMI stadium is being used.

Love the spa rooms that they have here. They have specials every 3-4 months and we love to get away overlooking the lake. The restaurant they have here is good to. Service and help is always good

We stayed in a lovely room at the Lakes. Although the room was a little tired, it was clean, quiet and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was yummy.

I went away for a couple of nights and stayed here. It was very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are lovely and meals are great. I would recommend it

Fantastic wedding reception venue, food is really really nice and room was awesome as well, has lot of accomodation too

a lovely place to have lunch or dinner, over looking the lake giving it something. Great price that will not break the bank. Its great for the children to as there video games to keep them going.

A very nice place to have lunch or dinner. Very nice food and a very good range. This is our families favorite place to come for lunch or dinner for a family birthday ect. You can have a drink and a meal and watch all the boats on the water. There is a lovely large eating area. I would certainly recommend this place. Child friendly as well. I would like to get married here well :) Nice for a work/function as well. Nice coffee. And great outdoor smoking area. But the food is very well priced and great quality.
