attended my formal here, the food was amazing, maybe a little too much, but never going to complain about too much food, the woman who were serving us were so nice and would recommend to anyone

I never thought planning a wedding would be so hard! I'm a travel agent and I swear I will never recommend this place to any of my clients planning a wedding! I was told my date was available over the phone and when I went in to view the venue and potentially pay a deposit, all dates but my date were presented to me. When I asked about my date, I was told that someone has a hold on it already. I was put down as a "second hold", but wasn't called back when promised, even to be told that I missed out. When I followed up, I was kinda brushed off yet again and was told I would get a call back. I'm still waiting! Very sad and disappointed!

Been to this reception centre on two different occasions. Primary school graduation and high school formal. The large dancing floors and staircases make a very elegant and sophisticated room and environment for a special function, large or small.
I was in the small room around the side for my formal, and although it was a bit of a tight squeeze at the entrance (because there were so many people) it was a lovely room for a slightly smaller function. Everything was neat and tidy, food was great and the service was efficient.

Great value reception centre with the most amazing circular dancefloor in two of their reception rooms. The decor is just lovely with wrought iron balaustrades and the most decadent staircase to make your grand entrance. My bf had her wedding here and it was just amazingly grand!! Loved it loved it

I have attended this reception for two different weddings and found it be a lovely venue.

The venue was elegant and tastefully decorated. Our table was decorated beautifully.

Wait staff were efficient in making sure we always had fresh drinks on our table and cleared our dishes in a timely manner.

The meals served were delicious.

I had a reception there and it was very nice. everything was neat and clean the food was amazing and the wine was marvelous.

Lakeside was fantastic. We were very impressed with everything they provided - their service, their food, their staff were just excellent....Definitely a reception centre that I would recommend anyone to go to as all our guests left so happy with the food and the night.. everyone was very very full! We were impressed with the trio dessert. The place is spacious and elegant, and the staff very very experienced in making everyone comfortable.

We were very happy with the whole experience!! Dominic was very patient and explained everything in detail many times!! He took away my tension and made the whole night run very smoothly. The staff were very helpful and caring. We were happy with the external Sri Lankan caterer that Domenic recommended, the food was fantastic! We appreciate Lakeside's attention to detail and quality of service. We would be very very happy to recommend Lakeside, we very pleased with the large amount of space for our dancing and Poruwa ceremony, and we like the quality of the centerpieces that are included in the service.!

there are other function centers better... but i would go back for another function. maybe not a wedding but something smaller like a christening or birthday. the food is fantastic for value for money but been there a few times now, please change the menu and offer a bit more.

Lakeside really helped make our wedding day special. The food was amazing. the ambiance of the room was beautiful with amazing decor. The team at Lakeside were very professional, and they even gave us a free holiday!!
