I visited this dealership in order to check out the new Jaguar XE along with the Discovery Sport. This dealership have a very snobbish approach to conducting their business and like another reviewer, the welcome is lacking and It seemed like they were more interested in making judgement of my casual attire by making comments about how I proposed to pay for the vehicle than taking on the fact that I was a prospective customer. The staff need re training. I'm still considering possibility of purchasing a Discovery Sport but if I do it will probably not be from this dealership.
I wonder if their after sales service is as bad as I live in Templestowe and I guess I would be visiting them for after sales service.
Why would car manufacturers want staff like this selling their cars? I have dealt with many car dealerships over the years as I have purchased many new cars and only once before had such a dealership for another brand and never went back to them for my purchase.
It’s not a good idea to insult your potential customers.

After ordering my new Range Rover Sport last year and waiting for it for 6 months, I was told the day before that my car was ordered wrong. Someone had stuffed up the order, I wasn't offered any compensation for waiting, nor having no car to drive after selling my car. There customer Service was arrogant, slow and selfish. The Manager, Lance Dixon is extremely rude and stingy! I will never go there again!!

Even though my car had passed it's warranty expiry date by a couple of months, the service department supplied a new starter motor on my Citroen free of charge. I did have to pay for labour to fit the part, but it was done very quickly and efficiently. They even gave me the use of a car free of charge whilst this was happening

Approximate cost: $150

i went to buy a freelander. was completely ignored by the sales manager until a young junior came and asked me if i needed any help. i advised him that i was interested in purchasing a new freelander and we went out for a test drive. the sales manager was not impressed as he didn't believe that i would actually purchase the car. i was dressed in jeans and a tshirt so therefore he judged me by my appearance. i wanted to place an order for a car and the sales manager did not seem interested in taking my order, continued to tell me the price and whether or not i had the available funds to purchase it. i eventually walked out, feeling very down. i did leave my name down for an order but no one bothered to get back to me.
