Fake chanel necklace

I spent thousands of dollars with Lawsons until I purchased an advertised authentic "Chanel" faux pearl necklace. The photos showed no damage however, when I received the necklace the black pouch it came with inside the box had deteriorated and left black residue over some of the pearls which had eaten away the coating on the beads. I complained to Lawsons and was refused a refund or any compensation. I then took the necklace into Chanel to see if the beads could be replaced. They said that this was possible but on examination they said they could not do this as they were unable to identify the necklace as one of theirs. In other words, it's fake, Further research sadly proved that this was correct - the necklace was 100% fake. So I am $1000 out of pocket for something that is absolutely worthless. I will never trust Lawsons again. Buyers beware of Lawsons fraudulent auctions.

No. I recently tried to have my elderly mother's antiques seen by an appraiser, but the person I spoke with (and emailed) did not seem interested in attending my mothers unit despite the excellent quality of the items she wished to have auctioned. Also the thought having to have a COVID test before entering the complex was inconvenient.

Read their 1 star reviews. I'm not alone. Greediest auction house. They have stolen my money and items twice. I've been a patron of theirs for over 5 years.

Recently paid for an item and when I tried to pick it up (hired a van) they had sold it to someone else with a claim that I had come late and it was 'storage fees'. Only 10 days. The art was thin, their warehouse is massive, they would have just leaned it against the wall. I paid for it on time. They refuse to refund me. And never called. I'm sure it was because it was a bargain and they thought they could make more. As mentioned this wasn't the first time.

This has NEVER HAPPENED WITH ANY OTHER AUCTION HOUSE.

Lawsons charge you extra on top of the premium in order to pay through their website and they don't list their bank transfer details. They once charged me $20 in transaction fees, not telling me they are able to accept bank transfers.

Where is the human decency?

They've lost my business over a few dollars.
I was both a seller and a buyer.

After a long discussion with Daniel shnieder on the 1% charge for using my debit card on a $1900 auction I won on the 7th April. We spoke about postage I have paid and a other issues since I have been a customer and I have never paid this 1% any where in a purchase but Lawsons and I took photos of the terms on all of website and would you believe it He changed the website in payment and shipping, again we spoke and he lied to me until I told him I took photos AND I know he changed it. saying it might have been changed. EVERYONE I would check my invoices that don't even mention what extra costs of 1% and postage.will not be getting a refund today but I will tell others that buy from lawsons to be very careful and be prepared to long hassles with bidding staff telling you different things and owners being deceitful and not caring about us as a customer. As Leo said puglisi said to scomo, nobody likes hard questions and I was right as a customer Lawsons does not care about our money we spend how sad.

Forgot to mention Jessie yesterday. She is working together with Seve and Harry at Contemporary art dept of Lawson. She is also very helpful and professional. Also the girl named Rikka. Thanks you all !

Misleading image of goods that could only be viewed online. On collection was utterly disappointed by the wear and indeed the quality - more fool me. In light of comments will not bother to complain - instead I will vote with my feet and never use again - and will freely repeat my experience so others are not fooled.

Approximate cost: $150

I was clearing out furniture from my mother's home after selling. Lawsons provided a very professional service. Daniel Schneider provided great advice and communicated regularly by email and phone. I was feeling quite stressed by the prospect of selling so many items however Lawsons were able to take the pain out of the process. Many thanks

Impossible to buy online from this auction house.I recently bought a rug and the photo was nothing like the actual rug which was mushroom and various shades of urine yellow. With Covid restrictions many of us have to limit our attendances at heavily populated venues and buy online.I cannot recommend that anyone confidently buy online from this vendor as there appears to be little attempt to accurately record colours.

Approximate cost: $170

Complete waste of time and money. Expensive trip to the tip. Will not buy through Lawsons again, could only view online, furniture was far less quality than it appeared in the picture. Buyers beware, what you see is not what you get.

My wife bid on soft furnishings at the Killcare house online only auction. Cushion covers damp and mouldy. Straight into dumpster. Total waste. Buyers beware.
