A big thank you to the Matin Farrah the CEO of Lawsons Auction House who supported me in my endeavours to raise money for the homeless by hosting the St Vincent de Paul Society charity online Auction. martin takes the time to listen and alwys meet and greets with a quirky smile.
The staff were fantastic, they work so hard and are always so pleasant and helpful.
The auction house makes available to the public an array of wonderful items. With any auction you must inspect and if unsure ask for a condition report. Lawsons have been trading for a long time and they are one of the best auction houses in Sydney. Lawsons is a great auction house. The staff are fantastic and work tirelessly to bring together a weekly auction. The staff are to be applaude for a job well done.

They will tell you point blank

As I’m not from sydney and they do internet auctions online you would expect them to be truthful , honest .

Don't bother with the pre bids as they don't seem to work. Bid on a car and it stated that we were the highest bid of $800.00. Watched the live auction and it stated it was sold for $650.00. We assumed it was us, but found out that although we received an email advising that our bid was accepted and showing on the Lawson's web site that our bid was the highest, it turn out that another person had got the car. I would not like to be a person selling through Lawsons as you would not get the highest price.

I went to an auction a few months back to check this mob out with a friend. I found they had so many interesting items for auction including old travelers books, beautiful jewelry, antique furniture and artworks. All that I saw were very much out of my price limits. 2 weeks ago I was helping my sister decorate her new shop and thought of this place as I remembered they had local artworks and modern design stuff too. We bought 3 large beautiful modern artworks for her shop. All of them were $300 and under each which was really reasonable. We were able to bid online for the works and they were delivered and it was a fun and easy and friendly process from start to finish. I love checking back on their website to see some of the things sold and my mind is blown continuously by the things these guys come across (and how much they sell them for). It's like that show antiques roadshow, but a website!!
