I had a terrible experience here today! I went in on a whim for a bikini wax and not sure what she took...not much at all!
She was rough and rude, told me 'to hold that back and out of the way' (talking about my stomach). She left the door open when she popped out to get something and when again she was finished. It wasn't until I got home and had a proper look that she hardly waxed anything!!! And this cost me $25, will NOT be coming back ever.

Approximate cost: $25

I went into the salon on the off chance that they may have some time for a facial. I was told there would be a spot in half an hour which was great.

After a consultation in the waiting room I was recommended the dermalogica oxygen facial.

I was taken into the tiny room which I found was very dirty. I asked for a towel to be put onto the pillow and was told the pillow case was clean on that morning, given it was almost midday, how many other clients had laid on the table? The table was so wobbly that I felt like I was going to fall off it. The therapist had to hold it still for me to get on. There was no music playing and was told this was broken.

I have had many facials over my lifetime and I am a fully qualified beauty therapist. Throughout the facial I knew that the products used were not the correct ones for an oxygen facial. The therapist had left the room once halfway through the cleanse and then when the masque was on. At this stage I decided not to continue the facial so went out and asked that the masque be removed as it was not the correct product. She told me I wouldn't know what products would be correct.

At this stage I said I was a beauty therapist and that I knew the products were wrong. I regret ever having said this as the therapist then went into a full abuse session of me and how I behaved. She told me I was rude and as a beauty therapist I should know better. I was told to get out of the salon or she would call security. She advised me that she was the owner/manager and to never come into her salon again.

I have never been made to feel so belittled in my entire life. As a beauty therapist I would never treat any of my clients in this manner. She never charged me for the half facial I received although I offered to pay.

I would never recommend this salon to anyone. After this happened I spoke to some other people who live in the area. They advised me that they had waxing at this salon and they ended up red and raw with the skin so damaged that it took over a week for it to heal.

Approximate cost: $90

my goodness that's really horrible sorry to hear this, good on you for speaking up and telling her the products were not right.
I really don't know how this salon survives, with service like that !

Hi Belindas24, thanks for such a detailed and concise review of your most unsatisfactory (and down right deplorable) experience. We hope the business in question learns from their mistake (s) however given the manager’s unprofessional behaviour it seems unlikely. Thanks again for sharing your traumatic experience that has the potential to influence many. Regards, Reeces

First visit went well, everything was okay, got my eyebrows done, explained that i had bad experiences in the past and i was really paranoid about my eyebrows, got a general tidy up and all was good.

2nd visit after advising to just tidy up my eyebrows,
they were reshaped and more hair had been taken off in areas that were not supposed to be touched.

I confronted the girl and she denied it, I asked for a mirror straight away and what i saw i was in tears.
She didn't charge me though yet again i need to grow out my eyebrows.

if you value your eyebrows i would not recommend this place

Thanks girls, I am really paranoid about my eyebrows I have had many different styles and shapes, thankfully my eyebrows grow fast
so will need to grow them out and look scary for a few weeks, though I'm scared to go to beauticians now, after it happening over and over again, its really scared me for life.
