Lee's Malaysian is just your average Malaysian food restaurant . The food is ok at an average price. I ordered a beef curry which was quite authentic.

I do not like it when the food has been sitting there all day either.

I really struggled to even give this two stars. I have tried a selection from the pre prepared (Bain Marie) meals and a freshly cooked soup and the dishes were average at best. Weak lack lustre broth in the soup and the won tons lacking in flavour with the won ton pastry/noodle not silky and smooth as it should be. The pre prepared curry dish I had contained tough meat and the curry was just hot with no underlying spicy flavour or depth and it was served on the cold side. Did not feel inspired to go back after the first try but I read so many good reviews I returned and was disappointed. Can't recommend this place - there are far too many better places to indulge in spicy tasty curries and soups in the CBD

Approximate cost: $9.00

A good restaurant selling Malaysian food . Prices are cheap and you must try its laksa which is perfect!

The meals are standard for a Malaysian restaurant and all in all, they weren't great for value considering the serving sizes and the taste of the meals themselves.

Service was terrible, the lady with the short bob haircut looks like one of the owners, put 2 bits of meat on my plate for a beef rendang $8.30, when i asked for more i was met with a grunt. Go to Chinese Malay on Hunter for better service, the last comment needs to try laksa there and compare.

Approximate cost: $8.30

They have the BEST Laksa in Sydney. We sometimes make a special trip into Sydney from home just for the Laksa. Friendly service. They also make a great chicken or beef curry. There is always a line up at lunch but you can usually find a seat. They also have another shop at Wynyard as well. They specialise in tasty Malaysian & Chinese food, and provides for all tastes from mild and savoury to hot and spicy.

Approximate cost: $9
