I tried this restaurant recently and was surprised at how many customers seemed fine with its food. I chose a pasta and it was so cheesy and oily I couldn't stand the taste as it was coated with it and basically inedible. Out of all my friends, only one was satisfied with her dish- an omelette rice- but even then I don't think it was worth the price tag for what it was like.
I came here because the price for each sushi dish was cheap at 2.90, but it definitely wasn't that great. The sushi on the sushi train that you didn't personally order wasn't cold- instead it was lukewarm. Thought the sushi tasted rather bland and didn't eat many dishes.
I found the store quite busy and the staff were fine though I personally didn't feel that pleased by the service. Food choices were vast, it took me a long time before I could choose my meal because there was such a huge menu. Overall, pretty good.
I like the food here and love its originality, cooking your own food on your specialised hot plate sure makes eating a lot more fun. I think prices are reasonable, and there's even a salad bar where you can choose a salad buffet.
The staff are friendly but I didn't enjoy the sushi much though it was reasonably priced and quite fresh. I thought they could do with much improvement and with a greater range of choices.
I really loved my experience here, I thought the food tasted great and was uniquely cooked even though I've been to so many other Japanese restaurants. The staff were friendly and it was very welcoming, being family owned. Loved the meals, the ramen wasn't too great in my opinion but would definitely come back.

I love that Japan City decided to open up a mini place to eat in addition to its usual store. I thought the food was great, the staff were friendly and the only thing I disliked was how it felt more like a food court since I had to go up to the individual counters to buy and bring back food to the tables. I loved the ramen I got as well as the tempura set, but for my friends they were disappointed in the katsu chicken dish which seemed really rushed. Loved the desserts menu too, will definitely come back.
I think the sushi here is okay, but not that great as compared to with other stores. However the prices are quite reasonable and I would come back for more.
It was my second time eating here, I chose a very chocolatey pancake- the actual pancake itself was chocolate based- and I didn't really enjoy the taste. Loved some of the other dishes through, the crepes looked amazing and tasted amazing too. Overall I love this place, and find it pretty busy and fun to go to on a night out with friends.
Compared to the other places in the shopping centre's food court, many of its items seem a tad expensive, but I love the dishes on the menu and wouldn't hesitate to come back for more!
