Well, my wife and I returned here saturday night for a delicious meal. We tried the Zingaloo and oh it was hot, infact to hot for my wife. Rogan Josh was perfect and the butter chicken delicious, really like the way our meals were presented and found the staff pleasant. However, when it came to paying (I had a voucher for 20%) we were informed that this restuarant is under new management and will "NOT" honour any discount vouchers. This was extremely disppointing and I do not believe handled very well. Our next Indian meal will be somewhere who will honour the voucher. All meals were fabulous, just the end result and how we were treated was disappointing. So be aware, no discounts here unless they hand you a discount voucher, which they did, for 10% off when/if we return for lunch. Disappointing.

I would rate them with 6 stars if I could, I cannot say enough about this Indian restaurant, so clean and tidy, nicely decorated and the staff are overally friendly and the food hear is just perfect, real authentic indian cuisine.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful evening here a few weeks ago, we booked a table as we didn't want to be disappointed. The service was amazing and our meals were so delicious, beautifully presented and quite generous. We tried the chicken and beef vindaloo and ordered 3 roti's, definitely didn't need 3, 2 would have been sufficient. Prices are very reasonable, we used my husbands API card and received 20% off the bill.

A most enjoyable evening, certainly looking forward to returning. Definitely recommend.

Another reliable indian restaurant in Mount Barker, have eaten in a couple of times and also had take away. A very nice dining area with friendly prompt service. Excellent indian cuisine, many dishes to choose from, well presented and delicious. I especially enjoyed their butter chicken and naan. A must try.

I love Indian food and this was suburb. We have eaten in and had takeaway, the food tasted the same both times which was good.

Staff have always been welcoming and friendly.

Amazing service and delicious indian cuisine is what we discovered here. We did find the prices to be a bit steep with entrees starting from $8 to around $19 and mains with the cheapest being around $14. We found ordering the mixed platter was best, my wife loved the mango chicken and I found the bombay beef masala to be fabulous, the meat was tender and the serving generous.
Very nice restaurant with delicious food and friendly attentive staff. Will return.

This is the only indian restaurant in Mt Barker. It is a lovely place to sit and have a meal, amazing service - they are very friendly and polite and your meal is served fairly quickly, which is surprising when it is so busy. Very nicely decorated inside. The food is delicious, if you can't decide on an entree I would suggest you order the mixed platter, then you get try a bit of each one. Yum! I also really enjoyed their Naan breads, especially the Garlic Naan and the Cheese Garlic Naan. Unfortunately they are not open at lunch time or on a Tuesday. Try them out, they are worth the money. Enjoy!!!!

We had takeaway from here with friends last night. They remember lots of detail about our friends from their frequent visits. We each ordered something different and every dish was delicious. The eggpland one was the best. I had cheese nann bread aswell. It was all great!

We were a group of 8 and all of us chose a different dish. EACH dish had its own distinct taste and there was enough in each dish to share. I ordered the Chai tea, which is made from "scratch" so I was able to have it unsweetened. The Lassis were almost a meal in themselves, thick and mango-ey. Most of the group were not hot curry eaters and coped well with the Fish Mumtaz Mahal, Mango Curry and Dum Biryani but there was HOT as well, for those who like it that way. We intend to visit again as there are other dishes we wish to try. The serving staff were knowledgeable and the Manager, Sid was a breath of fresh air. Everything was possible and he even remembered our orders (and slight changes) without writing any of it down!

Approximate cost: $15
